Worked for 4 months and came home to a constant tone and flashing lights which means bad battery. It's a non-replacable battery so have to go through warranty claim. They sent another one and it failed the same day with nothing even plugged into it. DOA. Waiting to see if they will send another. More frustration than its been worth.

This was unusable. Out of the box it had a strong plastic smell. After I plugged it in, it had a strong burning plastic smell. I unplugged it and returned it. When the return clerk opened the box to confirm the correct product was in it, he commented on the bad smell.

Started to scream louder than a smoke alarm in the middle of the night. There was not a power outage. The outlet was fine. It just wanted to have a deafening scream at 2:30AM. Buttons not responsive. I even yelled at it. I took it out to the yard and left it. In the next evening It was still screaming when I heaved it in the landfill. This thing is sealed cant fix it.

After those, please press the power button for 5 seconds while it's still unplugged from the power source and while the battery is disconnected. On/off switch stuck down in the unit. Couldn’t get it to pop up. Also, it’s the ugliest thing I have ever seen.

This product is not what it says it is. My power went out and the four of the surge protectors I had purchased did not run any of my appliances for more than maybe 10 minutes. I am very disappointed. I would not recommend them. I'm sure there are better products on the market.

Thank you for taking the time to review our UPS. I am sorry to hear the runtime wasn't as expected. There is a chance that the equipment is drawing more power than expected. At full load (480 watts) the unit would provide 1 minute of runtime. At half load (240 watts) you would get around 9 minutes of runtime. It sounds like the load may be around 230 watts.

Was disappointed with product. Purchased on short notice to replace a failed unit. 9 outlets, but whenever I plugged in 4 items (PC, monitor, printer, speakers) the unit simply shut-down/off without warning. I returned this product.

Thank you for taking the time to review our UPS. Unfortunately it sounds like you may have overloaded the UPS. Even though there are multiple outlets on the UPS you would still want to keep the load under 480 watts. It is likely that the printer pulled too much power and caused the UPS to become overloaded.

Reeeeeally unhappy with this. My other apc has been going strong for four years. This one started acting up a month after purchasing. Just outside the return window. It’s defective and not usable. Avoid.

Storm came and power was lost. Backup power onky last for an hour on my entertainment center. I will see if I can return the unit due to failure to maintain power as specified in overview.

Thank you for taking the time to review our UPS. I am sorry to hear that the unit didn't provide the expected runtime. There is a chance there is more power draw then suspected. To get around an hour of runtime the load would be around 65 watts. At full load (480 watts) you would around 2 minutes of runtime. At half load (240 watts) you would get around 10 minutes of runtime.
