Do you like beeping? screeching sounds you don't know how to respond to? If you have many of these, do you want to run around the house to respond to these things because they wont shut up? I have one in the yard right now because the mute button will not silence it for 36 hours now, still beeping. Another one, smaller model, started screaming, louder than a smoke detector, with a steady tone in the middle of the night with no power outage. I will pay double for one without a speaker. I'm looking for a hack to remove the speakers that I have. I will be speaking to my psychologist about how much I hate these people.

As mentioned from your other feedback (BN1500M2), the device's audible tone / alarm was made that way so it may caught the attention of users and address whatever the alarm is, accordingly. You may always choose to have the UPS on mute, however, critical events like UPS error or Low battery condition would still be audible. A business was in a pinch after a lightening strike. It lost a computer and several switches. I installed the PAC backup to protect two computers in the office and connected devices. It is working great and gives peace of mind to the business that they can handle another storm. I reviewed various backup/surge protectors and this one seemed the best to me - great protection at a good price.

[Employee of bestbuy] this one died in less than 2 months. Would not turn on, tried different outlets, tried to reset breaker on back, still would not turn on. Returned unit. I've had APC branded UPS units for decades, this is the first time I've had one fail. I bought another, a 1500VA instead, and now am hooking the computers and monitors and such to it.

Unit failed on me on the first time my power went out with a f02 error code. Unit was less than a month old it was fully charged and I was only using half of the wattage it was rated for.

The possible cause of an F02 error on an APC Back UPS Pro 1350 is an output short circuit on battery mode. To resolve this issue, you can follow these steps:
1) Turn the Back-UPS off
2) Disconnect non-essential equipment from the Battery Backup outlets
3) Turn the Back-UPS on and connect the load one by one to identify the faulty load
4) Remove the faulty load from the unit and start using it.
If the problem persists, it is recommended to contact APC by Schneider Electric Technical Support through chat and/or call us at 1-800-800-4272. We will make certain we resolve this for you in the quickest way possible.

It was great, until it failed in about two weeks. It would not power on, no display, circuit breaker had no effect, and there was power on the outlet it was plugged into. So, I returned it!

Two months old and the unit keeps cutting off and preventing power from getting through. Batteries indicate fully charged.

There is a chance that the load is higher than expected which is reducing the runtime on the unit. I would check what the power draw on the display is showing. If are only getting around 1 minute of runtime that would put you at full capacity at 810 watts. If this isn't the case please reach out to an APCbySchneider support team. Thank you for taking the time to review our UPS. I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with our unit. If it is beeping constantly I would check to make sure the UPS isn't overloaded and if there any alarms on the unit like the battery is disconnected. It could help if you removed the load, disconnected the input power and internal battery than hold the power button for around 10 seconds. Reverse the instructions to power the unit back up. I would power it back with no load to see if there is too much equipment connected to the UPS.
