The AirPods work well. These tend to slide out of my ear so much and cause so much ear tension. It hurts. I only bought these b/c they were on sale. Tbh I don’t use them b/c I ended up upgrading to the AirPod Pro 2. Much more comfortable and they (rarely) slide out. (to avoid this I clean them after every use). I have them as back ups but rarely use them.

1 year and it’s not working no more no good it’s not charging

Think twice before you buy. This is what you get for $179... Some serious misalignment and sharp edges. Returning ASAP!

Airpods came in broken. Connected to my phone 1 time, and now won’t connect to my phone or anything that I try to connect it to. Including other IPhones as well. All it does is flash white when I try to hold the button and reset them, it’ll turn orange how it’s supposed to when it resets, and then doesn’t pop up in Bluetooth. I researched every method to get them to work and they don’t. So I don’t know how to resolve this but I am not very happy with the purchase itself. My last pair of AirPods I got from Best Buy was great, and they worked until I sold them because I got these new ones, and now they do not connect. It’s extremely frustrating. On top of all of that already, one airpod did not work or connect at all. At the time I thought this was an charging issue but when fully charged, it still does not work.

YOU HAVE TO PUSH THE SIDE BUTTON TO PAUSE MUSIC "THE SECOND GENERATION YOU DID NOT" & THIS ONE IS A LITTLE TO BIG FOR MY EARS & UNCOMFORTABLE SO I RETURNED THEM & THEN BOUGHT ANOTHER SECOND GENERATION PAIR. I GOT THE THIRD GENERATION ONES WHEN THEY CAME OUT YET WAS EXTREMELY UNHAPPY. THE ONLY PRO TO IT WAS THE LONG PIECE THAT GOES DOWN THE CHEEK WAS SHORTER THAN THE SECOND GENERATION YET I NEED THE SECOND GENERATION SO I CAN TAP IT ON THE SIDE TO PAUSE & REPLAY MY MUSIC

I have airpods 2 and I have used airpods pro before. I prefer my airpods 2 over these. The airpods 3 fit my ears but I don't find them to be comfortable over an extended period. Also, the bass is too heavy and the mids and lows sound muddled. I do like the shorter stems and being able to click for commands. I'm not a fan of spatial audio. Battery life is excellent.

I've had the AirPods & AirPods 2 for quite some time. I exercise in them, work in them, run errands in them, etc. I've never has them fall out. The AirPods 3 however... wow, horrible. I can't even sit and read with them without falling out. They don't fit, they're constantly fall out, and if you so much as move or talk... your brand new AirPods will be on the floor. AWFUL. Good sound, but it doesn't matter when the AirPods are on the floor.

Too small for my ears I didn’t approve this purchase

Bought a pair yesterday and I discovered that while on pause the right ear pod was making a ticking noise, enough to drive me nuts in 2 minutes. Exchanged it with a new set same issue. I own a 2nd gen that doesn't tick and my spouse owns the 2nd gen pros that don't tick either. They are a bit bulkier and yes they are harder to remove and place into their case. Also since the stem is smaller I can't operate the functionality on the stem without taking the pod out of my ear, the 2nd gen I just have to tap the pod. Returning the second pair as well will stay with my current 2nd gens.

Did not stay connected to my phone. Had to return a total of 3 pair.

I was excited to get an upgrade from my 2nd gen AirPods, but I quickly realized these are far from an upgrade.. The fit of 2nd gen pods are absolutely perfect for my ears; the 3rd gen, however, just aren’t quite right. My rating isn’t based on fit though, it’s based on the garbage sound quality. Zero bass presence and hissing treble. I’m not saying AirPods 2 are amazing but I didn’t expect the 3rd gen to get worse, A LOT worse. And for reference personally I would only rate the 2nd generation 3 stars for overall fit, tolerable sound, & the mic being it’s best quality. Guess I’ll be sticking the the old busted pods for workouts and my overears headphones for enjoying music/movies

Not the usual Apple built quality. Last year i tried buying an airpod 2 from facebook market place and eventually found its a fake product - looks very similar but the build quality was poor : I feel the airpods 3 quality is similar to the fake product. The edges are not smooth , the hinge between the body and lip feels cheap , the lid is not well aligned with the body , have issue with pairing - lots of issues that i have never experienced with apple products. Very disappointed. Planning to return and get a pro or airpods 2. But i should say there is a considerable sound improvement. TIME TO LISTEN APPLE

I really didn’t like this model. The sound quality was good but the AirPods kept falling out of my ear. Even just sitting down working they would just fall out. This never occurred with the previous model. I thought maybe it was my ears but the same thing happened with my teens. So it’s a no for us.

Awkward fit. Went back to the original airpod 2’s.

This is the most disappointing product I've purchased from Apple. The first-generation AirPods fit perfectly; these barely fit in my ear and have been falling out constantly. They replaced the double-tap feature with a useless force sensor. It never works for me. The reason I purchased the first generation is for this exact feature. I've been an Apple user for two decades, and I've owned several iPads, Macbooks, watches, iPhones, and iPods. The Apple AirPod 3rd generation is the worst. Save your time and money and find a better product; I wouldn't purchase these if they were $25. I still enjoy the other products, but I will 100% be returning them to best buy. Hopefully, Apple hears their customer's complaints and addresses these issues.

Purchased these to replace the 2nd generation AirPods. I Do not care for the design. They fall out of my ears too easily. The sound quality is good when they actually stay in my ears.

Man, these have such a huge design flaw. They keep falling out of my ears. I thought i just had weird ears until I started digging and apparently tgis is pretty common. Man people have to buy silicone grips, some with ear hooks just to keep them in. Apparently the ear hook ones won't fit in the charging case so you have to take them off after every use. This is so terrible. What if they fall into a sink of water or a toilet? Get apple care if you buy these, you will need it.

Looked forward to receiving these new airpods, unfortunately I could not fit in my ear to try. For some reason this has been enlarged and the shape is slightly different than previous model (2nd gen). I returned and exchanged for another 2nd generation.

I like the new design, had the older model these are more sleek. Hopefully the battery will hold the charge longer than the old ones, so far so good.

I own generation 2 AirPods and bought generation 3 AirPods.The new generation are shorter in length but wider ear piece and these have fallen out of my ears 3 x . Generation 2 never fell out
