Nicely designed, easy to grab and go. Although they can be uncomfortable when laying down or if not being worn correctly. Also they can tend to fall out. If your ear is shaped differently it may be harder to position the AirPod to press the control button. Despite these things the spatial audio works great. There are many pros and cons to buying these AirPods 3 so weigh your options before purchasing.

This is our third pair and have all AirPods including the Pros. This latest version unfortunately is A step down due to comfort and size.. the Pros and 1st Gen fit much nicer and better. Before you buy, keep in mind that this latest Gen 3 is a much larger AirPod and May cause difficulties for smaller ears.

The sound quality is great but, the battery doesn’t last long and people can hear a lot of background noise.

These airpods improve on the battery and sound aspect of its 2nd gen counterpart. However they seem more slippery and would fall of the ear with any sort of rough movement or after just wearing them for a while.

If you're looking at these AirPods and thinking "hmm, I move around when I'm working out, how will that rounded shape stay in my ear?" It won't. Even if it does, it won't. Yes, there are accessories that can attach onto the bud provide a snugger fit, but that completely messes with the ergonomics of being able to just pop open the case and use earphones. Sound quality, however, is indeed improved. Not as good as even 1st gen AirPods Pro, IMO, but a noticeable improvement over previous base model AirPods

I was hyped for the new gen of airpods ever since i've had the 2nd gen. The 2nd gen airpods are really good for what they and are the standard of what wireless earbuds should be. That being said, the new gen fails to live up to it's predecessor by many faults of what should have been its pros. First, the biggest issue is it's shape. The 2nd gen were the perfect fit for my ears. They fit comfortably and stayed snug in my ears while moved around. No discomfort and no need to readjust every 20 minutes. The third gen design makes you think comfort, but bring you pain. I've tried to make them work. I've adjusted them many times so they wouldn't hurt. But after a while, I was tired of trying. I have no idea how Apple managed to screw this up. Maybe it's the shape. The way it conclaves into your ear compared to the 2nd gen flatter design would make you think that it should work. But it does not. Now, the 2nd has the ability to use play, skip, whatever by simply tapping the bud. An amazing feature that is quick and simple. Loved this. Apparently Apple decided to cut this cool trick with physical buttons on a short stem. Why Apple? Granted, each bud can now do 3 functions on each side, but at the cost of efficiency. Why not just keep the better function and just update it for the newer gen is beyond me. Sound is actually quite good for a bluetooth device. If you have no qualms with it's predecessor, then you'll see no issue with these as well. Personally, I found them sound more or less the same, which is not bad thing considering that these aren't on the same level as bose or sennheiser. Spatial audio is a cool gimmick, but nothing to boast about. Battery life is better now, as I would generally use the full charge on my 2nd gen at the 4 hour mark. With a full 2 extra hours, the better battery life on these gives a edge over it's older gen. Overall, these buds are quite disappointing. I wanted to like them. I wanted them to be better than the 2nd gen. But with its overall cons than pros, I can't recommend jumping on these at their current state and price. You are better off saving your money and getting the 2nd gen for a much simpler experience. Or cough up an extra $30 and get the pros, which are more less the same thing, but with tips and noise cancelling.

Sound quality is great. Battery life is awesome. However the hard shell was not very comfortable in my ear. Returned for the pro.

The skin detection seems glitchy. I sometimes fight to have one of the EarPods detected in an ear and end up listening through one. Audio is great, mic is great, battery lasts all day, but that skin detection is annoying. Not for high motion activity, the fit isn’t suitable to keep the earbuds in place unless doing light activity.

Great sound, poor fit and had to return. I like the versions below and above this model.

Pros: The sound is excellent. Battery life is better than Gen1 or Gen2. Cons: Much bigger. I've used them for about 3 hours and one or the other has fallen out of my ear at least 8 times as I moved around the house. I have no problem with Gen1 or Gen2. I can only recommend these if you have larger ear canals.

I ordered these as my first ever airpods and they hurt my ears. I returned them already and bought the pros instead. I think the pros sound better and they are way more comfortable. If you are sensitive to ear buds then I recommend the pros instead of these.

the shape of these AirPods will hurt your ears compared to the AirPods 2. These don’t fit well and the case doesn’t hold a charge too long. This version is inferior to the previous AirPods 2 in my opinion. The only reason I’m keeping them is because they offer Spatial sound but apart from that , they’re not comfortable to wear at all.

The sound great. I like how they look. But my issues are that it slips out of my ears at times. It’s not a snug fit in my ears. There times I would bend down to pick something from the floor and the EarPod would start to fall out of my ears. Also if I wanna skip songs, having to press the button on the EarPod twice is underwhelming. I prefer the previous models that I could tap twice to skip to the next song while listening to music. This version of the AirPods are great for people who spend most of their day sitting still or doing some light walking. I would not recommend this version of AirPods to people who live active lifestyles like running , lifting weights, jumping, etc.

3 stars only because the microphone quality is low, and because the device doesn’t fit comfortably in both of my ears. The left side feels more snug unlike the right side, which feels like it’s going to fall at any minute.

Needs noise cancellation for price. Has connectivity issues not long after purchase. Now they don’t connect at all. Bulky ear design not for everyone. First Gen. fit better

To be honest they were nice and had the best audio but for me I had issues with it staying on my ears and they kept falling off and when I tested both these and my AirPods Pro I felt that the pros were worth their money I mean the 3rd are good but I just decided to return them

These gen 3 Air Pods sound good but I expected a bit more for the hype. I also am having some connectivity issues with these that I don't have with my Gen 2 Air Pods. Connecting to my Mac Book Pro is a real PITA. I have to force it to connect like with non-Apple products using the button on back, then once it shows up as available, it tries but fails repeatedly. Randomly, it will finally connect and work. Then I'll return later or next day and have to go through the whole ordeal again. They have stayed connected to my phone just fine though. Lastly, the size is just a little too big and they won't stay in my ears while in motion like walking, working in the yard, etc. Even sitting I have to reposition them periodically as they slowly get pressed out. Maybe a combination of the smooth finish and circular shape, along with sweat, skin oil, and ear shape, they just always slip off and fall to the ground. I'm constantly shoving them back in. These are marketed as sweat & water resistant but how the heck could they stay in on a run or cycling while sweating?? Perhaps a grippier exterior? I considered the Pros but I don't like the rubber tips of the Pro model that totally block ambient noise. For the slight sound improvement and charge duration over the Gen 2's I don't thing the added cost is worth it.

Previous model were better, this pair falls from my ears constantly, I guess my "ear type" doesn't work for these airpods.

They are loud but they do not fit in my ear very well like the 2nd generation. I would rather have the older model than these because they always fall out of my ears.
