I upgraded from a XR and I’m so beyond in love with this phone! The camera is amazing (see the picture of my cat for proof; notice the detail on her fur), and I’m also loving night mode. The shape is so perfect and the gold is gorgeous!!! If you’re upgrading from an 11 pro/max I’d say wait til next year there’s not a ton of difference. If you’re upgrading from something basic like the XR, 11, SE, etc definitely do it!!!!!

I upgraded from iPhone 8 to iPhone 12 Pro. I was very pleased with the upgrade. Everything was better. I had to get used to the face recognition verses using my thumb. I took an amazing photo of my city at night. Right now 5G is the same speed as 4G in my city so I’m looking forward to when Verizon turns up the speed.

I've been a life long iPhone user ever since I swapped my blackberry pearl for a big boy phone. The Camera for me is where its at. As an on the go traveling professional I often do not have time to take in the scenery luckily my phone always at hand. my instagram has never been the same thanks to the Wide angle lens!!!

The phone itself is just fine. The battery is terrible . Maybe I have a faulty phone ? I’m The type of person who’s on my phone all day long and my 11 promax lasted me almost 2 years before I upgraded. My 11 promax would last two days without a charge easily when I use it for five or six hours a day. The 12 pro is dying on me after 4-5 hours and I only bought it just over a month ago! Now, I do do my research and shut off the 5G to save battery... I checked out my battery health and made sure it said 100% still, I shut off data/auto update and notifications for half of my apps , but nothing has made a difference. The phone did have a BAD SIM card when I bought it new, which was replaced 2 days after my purchase, and the phone itself does something funny when you try to restart it. I really think the phone itself is faulty. But too late to get my money back or switch back to the 11 pro ?

So, the phone is *fine* It’s an iPhone… we all know what is it/does. Why is the back of this phone made of glass? Long story short, I wanted a 256/512G phone, they didn’t have any, I needed one that day so I got the 128 thinking I could order a bigger one online and return this when it arrived. When I went to return this the back glass had shattered somehow and I didn’t know because it was in a case and not visible to me, so Best Buy wouldn’t take the return even though it was a matter of days. I get that from their point of view, not their fault, but that is a serious design flaw on the phone itself. Why. Is. The. Back. Made. Of. Glass. Just another thing that can break. If my entire life wasn’t integrated with apple I would switch to android.

Absolutely love my upgraded phone. I went for the pro mostly because I liked the 128 starting storage as well as the camera specs since I’m getting married this year and want to be able to capture a lot of things. The changes in low light environments are incredible. Also, I originally wanted ANY color but blue, but when I was ready to purchase blue was the only color. I saw it in person and fell completely in love. I love the color, I love the shape that is similar to the 5, and I enjoy the difference in the metallic sides and matte finish on the back. Very aesthetically pleasing. Performance wise I haven’t had any issues. I’ve used iOS 14 to its max creativity and customization level which has been so much fun. Speed is good as well as battery life.

Quite a bump up from iPhone 7. Speed is noticeably faster. Camera is outstanding. The file transfer process can be frustrating at first because of some known bugs, but it’s manageable. Screen size is a huge bump up. The Face ID feature is pretty cool. You might miss the thumbprint if you wear a mask a lot.... but not if you wear gloves too... :) Service with Verizon is good. My signal strength is better with the iPhone 12 compared to the iPhone 7.

I had Android for years before switching to the iPhone 6s. It took a bit getting used to but over time I became very familiar and happy with Apple products. The simplicity of them and the overall stableness of iOS compared to Android was a welcome change. After buying and using an iPhone X for 3 years, I decided to switch to a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra which, from a phone stand point, was a welcome change. Android felt stable and the phone had some neat stuff such as the SPen. However, as someone whos vehicle supports both Android Auto and Apple Carplay, the quality between an iPhone and Android showed their true colors here. Android Auto has severe, experience breaking glitches such as audio volume being locked very low, music not playing properly (rare but happens) and messaging reading back every message instead of just the ones that are unread. At times, messages would be read back over the music thus making it difficult to hear. This is why I made the decision to switch back to iPhone and picked up an iPhone 12 Pro just two months after I bought the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. The simplicity is still there and Apple Carplay, for the most part anyway, works flawlessly. Music sounds better using Spotify (Highest quality) than it does on Android (both with normalization turned off). iMessage is a nice messaging application when compared to Samsung or even Google Messaging. If you're upgrading from an iPhone X or newer the differences are minor unless you're really into the camera or need 5G. But in most areas, including mine, we have 5G but not 5G UW. I'm in the suburbs of Chicagoland but not the city itself. The speeds are close to 4G LTE so if you're not in the few areas that have UW 5G I'd say this feature isn't something one should consider when buying it. But if you're using an older iPhone or just looking to switch from Android I am a firm believer in getting the newest technology so I'd say go for it.

I upgraded from a very old iPhone 6s and this phone is amazing. The pictures are gorgeous, it’s lighting fast, I can get about a day and 1/3 use out of the battery with fairly heavy use, screen size is nice, and it charges up so fast. Just buy it.

Apple typically sells itself…I love this phone. The camera options are amazing. The screen is very similar to my iphoneX that I had prior to this one. I prefer the color options for the 12pro. The front facing camera has a great feature that widens the frame. My battery lasts me an entire disney day of using the apps I need, taking photos, and finding peoples location. I wish my Apple Watch did the same. Excellent job Apple.

I'm rating this 5 stars but I have to say first that it replaced a very old one (iphone 7) that had issues, so the bar was pretty low. So far, it has performed very well and I like the new features and improved speed. The camera is way better than my old phone. The only thing I'd say in the negative is the cost and the fact that you now have to buy the thing to charge it for $20.

Disappoint comes to mind when I think about this phone. Maybe it was hyped up too much and I expected it to be leaps and bounds better than my last phone (Pixel 3), but it’s not. Other than the battery life. My last iPhone was a 6s so it’s an improvement over that, but not by much. Yeah it’s faster, and the display is better, the camera is awesome, but it’s so much the same phone. Boring. Also 5G isn’t bad when I have it, but when you don’t which is often this phone falls on its face. Like LTE worked like a champ the week before I got this phone now it acts like I put peanut butter in the gas tank with LTE. Can it not be optimized to work on both? Oh and Face ID is pretty lame too. In the time of make it obviously isn’t going to get far, but when I’m not wearing a mask I still have to enter the passcode about 40% of the time. Last thing was it still uses a lightening cable but was supposed to have switched to usb-c kinda lame in my opinion. Overall I would only buy again for the security features of Apple over Google phones

Great phone at lower price than previous models. Had an 11 pro prior and upgraded through work to help replace my wife’s broken phone and it is fast. Great camera that is even better at night and the mag safe cases are nice and offer an easy way to change and charge on the go. Strong battery life and all around great phone.

I upgraded from an iPhone 8+ and am extremely impressed with the processing speeds and camera on this phone. The price definitely is the only draw back, but to know I'll have an extremely capable phone for the next few years is enough to make it worth it. The Ultra Wide lens still isn't perfect, definitely loses some sharpness over the standard and telephoto lenses, but with a little editing you can bring it back. Otherwise the camera on this keeps up with any prosumer DSLR/Mirrorless camera.
