Please read the description.
This MacBook is a nice investment if you need one for the bare-bones programs and internet access. Personally, It does the basics of what I need it to for this season; I use it to write, study, and run programs like Microsoft Office for school. I also use it to take notes, surf the web, and also stream music. Additionally, it supports AirDrop so transferring files between the computer and my phone is much easier. An added bonus is that the Apple logo on the lid lights up. I will say this though: As this particular unit is now seven years old, there are some things that one might take into consideration when looking to make a purchase like this one. For one, the operating system is progressively being phased out, and there are certain apps and programs that will not run, (that is if you can get them to download). Please keep this in mind when purchasing an older model of any Apple product. Secondly, Since this is an older unit, the battery is also (I imagine) almost as old as the computer itself, so there may be some aging of the battery, where it may drain faster than it did when it was new. Depending on what it is you are looking for in a computer, this may affect your ultimate decision on making this purchase. Bottom line: It works for me, and quite frankly, I really like it. However, if you are looking for a MacBook that you can use for a few years WITH the capacity to access many popular Apps on the App Store, this computer is not for you. I would suggest making the investment of a newer MacBook Air, maybe a couple of years old or newer; Especially if you plan on holding on to it for a while. There are a number of factors to consider when making a purchase like this, so I would recommend taking inventory of what you are looking for in a computer right now, as well as where you might see yourself on the road ahead.
