MagSafe 60W Power Adapter
I purchased this power adapter after my other cord became damaged. I like the magnetic connection to my computer, but its best to connect it to the computer so the cord faces away otherwise it blocks the usb ports. I also like that the cord can be wrapped around the power adapter for storage and that the plug pulls off and you can connect both cords together to make the cord longer. The power adapter is available in three different wattages so be sure to get the right one for your computer. The cord is good quality, but I wish I didn't have to buy both cords when I only needed one.

Should have been redesigned a long time ago.
It's sad. I really enjoy my Apple products. Their attention to detail and their user friendly designs are the best of the best. However, for some reason and for many years, they continue to pass right over the MageSafe power adapter design when rethinking their products. Yes, they changed the magnetic connector. Which, I presume was done to make it sit more flush to the body of the notebook. However, they keep looking right past the absolute worst part of the design. Where the power cord runs into the converter block. This flimsy design results in worn and faulty wires after about a year of use. So, every year I have to go back to the store and purchase a new one at $80 a pop. I gave this rating a 2nd star only for the fact that I love being able to add the power cord extension on with a quick snap.
