I've been through several cheap fm transmitters. This one is the only one that works and works well so it's worth the extra money. The fact that my phone charges at the same time it's working is awesome so that I don't have to worry with another cord. My only issue with it, and the reason I didn't give it five stars, is that you can only pick from 3 frequencies. If there's not another station on at least one of the frequencies you're good, but if frequencies 88.1, 98.1, and 107.9 have fm stations in your area, then you may want to think of something else because you'll get a lot of static from the transmitter if you do.

I bought this FM Transmitter for my truck I just bought, (which had NO auxiliary input) so I can use the Sirius/XM feature(s), etc. on my iPhone 6plus. I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of hooking it up & getting it to work FAST. First, plug the FM Transmitter into the 12v power outlet, then plug the adapter into the phone' lightning adapter. Next, tune your vehicle's digital stereo to one of 3 pre-selected channels on the FM Transmitter & you're up & running. It's as simple as that! Not only does it allow the use of Sirius/XM, Pandora, Spotify, iBooks, navigation (or whatever else you choose for entertainment purposes) on your iPhone, it ALSO charges your cell phone-as-you-use-it--all from your Lightning adapter plug! Great product! Great features! simple to set up & use!--all for a very reasonable price! If you have an old car stereo, with no aux input & would like to use the features from your NEW cell phone, this is the product you NEED!

I bought this for my son's older model car that did not have Blue tooth or Aux on the radio for his Apple phone. It took him no more than five minutes to get connected and streaming apple music from his phone . Just like a FM radio as you drives it has some dead spots but overall it works well and the price was good!

I've been through a bunch of FM transmitters in the last few months and this is certainly my favorite. Easy to use, has a long cord, and charges my phone super fast.

Pretty good, sounds clear and has quick connection as well as charges your device . The only thing I don’t like is the station will come through here and there.

The cord is long and convenient. There is not really any static between the connection and the music unless you are on a station that does not have a good connection.

I was looking for a simple solution for being able to connect my Iphone to listen to podcasts, music, etc. in my older car. I even looked at replacing my stereo, but this transmitter did the job. I had older adapters/transmitters for older models of phones and was a little leery because of the issues I had with previous, similar items (mainly static issues). I've had no problems with this one so far and was a good, cheap option for what I needed. Recommended.

This product operates OK… It is just a little static from time to time. Best Buy did not have the brand I wanted in stock so I purchased this as second-best.

Insignia™ NS-MA5FMT FM transmitter is easy to set up and works pretty well. I use it in a 2002 Toyota Camry XLE. The antenna is in the rear window so sometimes there's static. I used the auto select feature to find an unused station and that works well. The only other issue is if you're driving long distance the radio stations in the air are different so you may have to look for a new unused station occasionally. That said, it's nice to be able listen to music on my iPhone 6s while driving.

The transmitter is easy to use, has minimal static interference, and it's an added bonus that it charges while it plays!

My car is a 2004 model and doesn't have an aux outlet. I've had several fm transmitters over the years and this is, hands down, the best. It's clearer than most and I like that the cable is heavier than others. The only complaint is that I can't seem to switch to more than a couple of stations, but I haven't read instructions and never think about it until I'm driving and need to switch stations and can't take time to play with it. Once I figure that out, five stars!

I bought a used car that doesn't have Bluetooth or auxiliary audio inputs. The fm transmitter is a good option to connect phone or any other music device to car stereo. The only downside is that sometimes static will bleed through. It is a minor issue that should not prevent anyone from purchasing the device. Overall it works very well and is much less expensive than a new stereo. There's also a USB port in the power cord to allow for charging, but it increases the static. Lots of wires too.

The transmitter worked seamlessly with my daughter's iPhone, and she used it to listen to music during her long drive to Texas. When I purchased this I did not realize it was an open box item. The item itself was fine, but there were no instructions. However, my daughter figured it out, since she had seen her brother use a transmitter for his iPod years ago. Best Buy should make sure that ALL the parts are in the box.

As a replacement for an iPhone cable for the car, this was a no brainer. The price point was only slightly above a plain cable and provides a means to listen to aps on the phone. Best part - when using GPS function the directions are cast to the car system, and the ap continues. Some white noise due to FM band saturation and antenae orientation.

I am very impressed with the quality of this transmitter. It's easy to set up, and sounds great. I was able to listen to my playlists on vacation when we were in the mountains and couldn't get reception from radio stations.
