Needed a mini DP to DVI and this one did the work. My computer set up is now complete.

Purchased this for work to connect an iMac to my Cintiq (which has a DVI out only). There may have been a cheaper alternative, but I'd rather stick with the Mac connection. Sturdy build, and a consistent connection.

I'm consistently impressed by Apple products. My desktop PC "died." I have to use my MacBook Air as a replacement. I have a large-screen LG monitor, so I got the adapter. Plugged it into my MacBook, plugged the DVI cable into the adapter, and voila . . . The MacBook automatically senses it's connected to an external monitor and outputs to the LG. It's kind of nice, too, because now I can use my laptop monitor along with the external monitor, opening multiple documents on my desktop and dragging them around in both monitors, viewing a spreadsheet and Word doc in the large monitor and a reference work or browser on the laptop.

You never know when you will need to connect to a projector. This is easy to use and connects easily to any DVI connection.

It JUST works. The quality of the products that Apple provides are excellent and work the 1st time. No issues.

Like all Apple stuff, you pay a ltitle bit of a premium on adapters like this, but they always work the way the're supposed to. I'd say $20 would be a more fair price for the TB to DVI adapter, as functionally equivalent examples can be had for that price (or better) online etc, My only "complaint" with this adapter would be that the cable is super short (just a few inches) meaning, if you're using it on an iMac, then your DVI cable will be pulling down on the adapter and wearing out the port. I returned mine and bought an adapter off of Amazon that has a long TB cable (like 6-10 ft.) so the heavy connector is at my monitor.

Needed this adapter to connect to an external display from my MacBook Air while on the road to my remote office. Works terrificly, and saves me eyestrain during a full day of email and tasks!

Using it to connect to an old dell monitor. I bought a DVI cable off amazon to use. I bought it open box and it works great! The only annoying issue i have between the mac air and the dell monitors is you always need to plug the mac in otherwise the monitor goes to sleep. Took me 2 connectors to figure that out. Now I have one that is a dvi connector as well as the vga connector

After buying knock-off branded accessories from Amazon and been burned multiple times with cheap imitations, do yourself a favor and get the right adapter for the job. Always works and great to have in the bag.

This is exactly what I needed to make a connection to my Macbook Pro. I use a special dock for my laptop and then utilize a bigger monitor. I needed a way to make the connection.

Wanted to be able to connect my Mackbook Pro to my large monitor for viewing for a class. Absolutely was the perfect answer to my dilemma. Great connection!

I needed two of these bad boys to complete my video editing system. With my particular graphics card I used these to connect dual monitors up to my workstation. Works great!

I have used no brand name versions of this product and the quality is not nearly as good. The apple adapters while more expensive are more durable the cheaper knockoffs.

I had bought the wrong cable trying to get my Macbook hooked up to my monitor so I could leave the laptop closed while working. Buy the right tools and they just work.

I use this with my MacBook pro to extend my desktop and add a full sized monitor when I'm at my desk. Works perfectly!

I'm so glad I finally got this. Now I can look at my widescreen monitor and actually have the use of two monitors at one time. Great time saver. Works great!

The adapter works great. I tried a third party adapter first and had issues with picture quality, but once I replaced it with this one the picture is clear

The apple adapter does the job flawlessly on 27" iMacs to hook up additional monitors. I'm running 2 external DVI monitors with these and it works great.
