I purchased the plan for the peace of mind of anything breaking on my phone, or me dropping it. It seems a bit pricey, along with the $120 some deductible.... not sure if I will continue to keep it.. Might be nice if they offer another plan for a reduced price after the 2 yrs... I plan on keeping my phone for more than several years. I am not sure if I would recommend this plan to a friend or not.

Apple Care protection is 100% times better than the insurance you can purchase through your phone company, plus the price is better! I just found out about this option when getting my fiance a new phone, but this is the only way I will go from now on!

when purchasing a new iPhone, you need protection. AppleCare+ for iPhone - monthly plan. its a good thing to have insurance on your phone in case you loose it or break it. I rather have insurance from AppleCare+ then through my service provider so that I can go to best buy or apple store or service provider for help, rather than just the provider.

You need to purchase apple care if you want your phone fully insured I’d highly recommend it

I can’t say if it was a good idea getting it because i had no reason to use it.

Apple Care Plus is a must have for any apple product. Instead of paying it all up front, you can instead pay monthly. You are free to cancel whenever you want, but you won't want to.

Warranties for cell phones are a must have, in my opinion. With them being so easy to drop, get wet, etc., it's good to have peace of mind.

I came into Best Buy to buy a new phone and renew my contract with Sprint. I told the person doing all the paper work that to make sure that I had insurance on the phone. She told me not to worry and put the AppleCare insurance which is not what I had asked (I just wanted her to look at my account and make sure everything was as I had it, with insurance I've had since I started with Sprint in 2012). She told I would be charged once to my card and then after it would go to my Spring bill. That did not happen, as I was charged for two months of a plan I didn't want to begin with. I talked to AppleCare and they said they could remove me from the plan but they could not reimburse me. There were also other charges of plans that I didn't sign up for which appeared on my Sprint bill but I disputed those charges and was reimbursed by Sprint. I write this in hopes that no one will have the experience that I had.

Took out the added coverage just in case something unexpected might happen. Nice affordable cost with the option to cancel at any time.

I haven't had a need for this protection plan yet. But it's purpose is good.

I have Apple Care on my phone and was very glad I did when once the phone had a glitch and needed to be replaced. Then, I used the plan again when I cracked my screen and needed a replacement once again. I only had to pay the deductible instead of paying for a whole new phone!

This is an awesome phone. For it being the first IPhone I get I'm really enjoying it. If you cannot afford a 6 this is the one to get. The iPhone SE.

I've had apple care before and its always been a good buy. I like the monthly aspect and not having to pay for it all upfront.

First let me say that AppleCare for the iPhone is an absolute necessity. However, don't buy the monthly plan unless you are totally cash strapped and don't mind paying $8 a month for 2 years (i.e. $192) twice the price. Yikes! Instead, cough up the cash and buy the same 2 year plan for $99. Sometimes convenience is very costly!

Best Buy recommended this insurance plan. Less expensive than buying it through Sprint and has same coverage.

I'm pleased with the cost of my AppleCare monthly plan for my iPhone. I get great coverage for a minimal price.
