Arthur Fiedler, the long-time conductor of the Boston Pops orchestra, the symphony orchestra that specializes in light classical and popular music, became the first orchestra of it's kind to record a bona fide disco album in 1979. Inspired by the hit movie InchSaturday Night Fever,Inch Fiedler & The Boston Pops recorded an album comically titled InchSaturday Night Fiedler,Inch containing a medley of some of the biggest disco hits of the day and InchBachamania,Inch in which Bach goes disco! Presented here is a newly remastered, expanded edition of the hit album, containing single edits of all the original songs from the medley presented individually, plus a single edit of InchBachamaniaInch and the original 7Inch vinyl edit of InchNight On Disco MountainInch b/w InchDisco Inferno,Inch the only single released from the album.
