Arturia DrumBrute Impact is an analog drum machine designed for rhythm creation, sequencing, and live performance. It features 10 individual drum sounds, including Kick, Snare 1 and 2, Tom Hi and Low, Cowbell, Cymbal, Closed Hat, Open Hat, and FM Sound, each with optional Color sound shaping. The built-in step sequencer supports 64 patterns of up to 64 steps each with accents, swing, and polyrhythm options, and patterns can be chained using Song Mode. Performance tools include a Roller for real-time instrument rolls, a Random knob for generating variations, and output distortion with bypass. DrumBrute Impact offers flexible connectivity with USB MIDI, multiple sync options, master and individual outputs, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Its compact form factor and 4 lb weight make it suitable for studio, home, or stage setups, allowing integration with other instruments and recording equipment.
DrumBrute Impact provides 10 high-energy analog sounds, including Kick, Snare 1 & 2, Tom Hi & Low, Cowbell, Cymbal, Closed Hat, Open Hat, and FM Sound. These instruments cover a wide range of rhythmic styles, allowing users to craft electronic, hip-hop, or pop beats with clear, direct sound in studio or live setups.
Each instrument (except Cowbell) features the Color control for adjusting harmonic content, drive, snap, or tonal character. Built-in output distortion can be applied or bypassed, allowing users to modify drum timbre and add crunch directly from the interface without external processing, thereby enhancing rhythmic expression and performance.
The step sequencer supports 64 patterns, each with up to 64 steps, and separate accents for each drum. Song mode allows chaining patterns to structure full compositions or live sets. Polyrhythm options and swing controls provide timing flexibility, enabling complex rhythmic arrangements, step sequencing, or dynamic finger-drumming performances.
DrumBrute Impact includes the Roller for real-time drum rolls, a Random knob for generating pattern variations, and dedicated Accent controls for dynamic expression. These tools allow users to add movement, groove, and variety to both live performances and recorded sessions, supporting a hands-on, intuitive workflow.
