Arturia KeyLab 88 mk3 is a full-size MIDI controller designed for studio production and live performance, featuring an 88-note fully weighted Fatar TP/110 hammer-action keybed with velocity sensitivity and aftertouch for expressive playing. It includes a 3.5-inch full-color display with contextual controls, 12 touch- and pressure-sensitive pads, 9 faders, and 9 rotary encoders for hands-on control of DAWs, virtual instruments, and effects. Built-in arpeggiator, chord, and scale modes support composition and performance workflows, while integration with supported DAWs, NKS-compatible, MCU/HUI control protocols enables flexible software control. USB-C and MIDI DIN connectivity, along with multiple pedal inputs, allow connection to computers and external hardware, and the included software titles and performance accessories support music creation in studio and stage setups.
The 88-note Fatar TP/110 hammer-action keybed delivers a piano-style response with velocity sensitivity and aftertouch for expressive MIDI performance. It supports dynamic playing across virtual instruments, DAWs, and external hardware. A 3.5-inch full-color screen provides real-time feedback on parameters, presets, and DAW activity, supported by contextual buttons for direct navigation. This interface enables on-device control of settings and adjustments. It supports efficient workflow when editing sounds, managing sessions, or performing live with connected software and hardware.
Equipped with 12 touch- and pressure-sensitive RGB pads, 9 faders, and 9 rotary encoders, the controller enables direct interaction with DAW mixers, instruments, and effects. Users can trigger samples, launch clips, adjust levels, and control parameters with reduced need to switch screens. This layout supports beat-making, mixing, and real-time automation in production and performance workflows.
Built-in arpeggiator, chord mode, and scale mode provide tools for generating melodic patterns, triggering harmonies, and constraining notes to selected scales.
