Arturia KeyLab mk3 is a universal MIDI controller designed for integration with software and hardware instruments, featuring a velocity-sensitive semi-weighted keybed available in 49- and 61-key configurations, touch-sensitive pads, encoders, and faders for hands-on control, and a 3.5-inch full-color display for real-time feedback and navigation. The redesigned keybed supports expressive playing for melodies, chords, and performance techniques, while aftertouch enables additional control over parameters such as filters and effects in virtual instruments and MIDI-compatible hardware setups.
Equipped with 12 touch- and pressure-sensitive pads, 9 rotary encoders, and 9 faders, KeyLab mk3 enables real-time control of clips, parameters, and mixes. These controls support workflows such as beat-making, automation, and live performance, allowing users to adjust levels, trigger samples, and shape sounds directly from the controller.
A 3.5-inch full-color display with contextual buttons provides visual feedback for parameters, mappings, and presets. This interface allows users to navigate DAW sessions, adjust settings, and monitor changes without relying solely on a computer screen, supporting efficient workflow during recording, editing, and performance.
KeyLab mk3 is compatible with major DAWs, including Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, and Bitwig Studio. Pre-mapped controls and customizable MIDI assignments allow management of transport, mixing, and instrument parameters. It also supports MCU/HUI control protocols for DAW integration and user presets for flexible control across multiple setups.
USB-C provides power and MIDI connection to computers, while a 5-pin MIDI DIN output connects to external instruments. The controller includes software such as Analog Lab Pro with 2000+ sounds, Ableton Live Lite, and additional instruments and effects. This supports music creation, recording, and sound design in both software-based and hybrid environments.
