Ash's retirement in Jacksonville is cut short with the Deadites, so the gang heads to Ash's home town. Things don't go too well for Ash, as he has become infamous for the events that happened 30 years ago, and is known to the town as "Ashy Slashy"! We get to see Lee Majors as Ash's father, and the return of Ash's sister, Cheryl! Ruby turns good, but is killed by past Ruby!

I've always been a fan of the "Evil Dead" franchise. This is no exception. This was always a must-see show when it was on the air. It certainly expands more on Ash Williams' backstory. Can't go wrong with "Ash vs. Evil Dead."

Love this show...nothing but good to say about it. Unfortunately what is displayed isn't what you get. There is no digital copy! So don't buy if you want the digital copy also.

Good second season since we won't be getting a fourth evil dead movie this suits me fine.

Second season is nonstop hilarity and wackiness! Campbell is top of his Ash game!!

If you liked the 2 Evil Dead movies and Ash vs. Evil Dead season 1, then season 2 carries on the tradition. Lucy Lawless returns as a main antagonist.

So sad this is over. I really liked this series and the films were great.

I don't love the show myself, but it was a gift and the person I got it for was extremely pleased.

El Jefe & Co. are back in action in Season 2 of Ash vs. Evil dead, this time taking us to Ash's hometown & back to the infamous cabin where it all began once more, this time with a time-travel twist! All the (surviving) characters from Season 1 are in fine form, with some new faces added to the mix for Season 2 (including the very welcome return of Ted Raimi to the franchise). There's gore & gags aplenty, sometimes verging on too much of a good thing (those who've seen the episode "The Morgue" know what I'm talking about), and the season finale is a bit of a head-scratcher, but it's a wild, fun ride fans of the Evil Dead franchise won't want to miss!

Who would have thought that Bruce Campbell could come out of the shadows and resurrect this franchise into such an entertaining series? When I initially saw the trailer for the first season, I figured it'd maybe last a season with a few memorable episodes. After seeing the first season, I was thoroughly entertained and loved everything I'd seen. When Season 2 was announced, I was like "this'll probably be half-baked and they'll realized they should have quit after season 1." Instead, Season 2 was EVER BETTER than the first season and I can't wait for Season 3!

Season 2 continues the insanity from season 1 and ups the laughs and the gore. Still following that Evil Dead 2 formula of comedy and horror this season pulls out all the stops with Bruce Campbell as Ash and his fellow deadite hunters are back on the hunt when something with the book of the dead goes wrong and they are all dragged back into duty. Any horror fan, gore hound or Evil Dead nut will love this!

If you're buying season two, I'm sure you know the premise, therefore you know the tone, and it's probably a given you know the characters. This season starts off with a bang, and never stops being a blast to watch. If you're a fan of the Evil Dead series or even just a Bruce Campbell fan, I'm not even sure why you'd read these reviews. Get it. It's groovy.

As good as the first season was, this second season is even better. I normally do not like gore films just because I think they go for cheap scares. Ash vs the Evil Dead Season 2 is incredibly gory but it is played fot the darkest of humor and it works beautifully. Bruce Campbell is a treasure.

t's Bruce Campbell, the Raimis and the usual suspects so either you'll love it or hate it. However, it's faithful to the Evil Dead franchise and as bloody and zany as you could hope for. It's well done with lots of cameos from other Raimi/Tapert projects so you'll see a lot of familiar faces.

great show, funny, really wasn't expecting there to be a second season the way they ended the first season. there were parts that left me struggling to breathe from laughing, like all the bruce Campbell evil dead series has done. very true to the franchise.
