A: I have exactly the same problem and have also tried different memory configs (2x32GB 6400, 1x32GB, 2x16 5400, 1x16 5400, etc.). Research shows the error 55 problem has plagued ASUS motherboards for years. Very disappointed and will exchange for something else.
A: The 4090 works with this motherboard but you lose access to the 2nd pcie slot because the card is so big and because the card is so big you have to check if it will even fit inside a case. I use the Lian Li dynamic xl it has room for everything it’s a massive case and mine has 10x120mm fans and room left over for a full liquid cooling loop for a cpu.
