Was a little apprehensive to jump ship from Corsair because I have only used their keyboards for gaming. I will say I am impressed with this board and love the functionality and the feel of it. My ONLY complaint is that it doesn’t come with bonus textured keys for WASD and space bar. Luckily I still had my Corsair board and took the textured keys from it and transferred them over as you can see in the pic. If they would start adding those with this particular board I don’t know if any reason for someone to be unhappy or underwhelmed with this product.

It’s a great keyboard, and very well priced for what you get.

Asus is the best at everything. This keyboard is very nice looking and sturdy. Some of the keys were overly stiff when brand new but have since "broken in" and all work great now. Had a very Merry Strixmas with this product.

I recently got this keyboard and i have to say that its really good board. The switches are really good they are cherry MX red and they feel very good. I also enjoy the TKL design it helps with space and mouse movement. I think this Keyboard is very underrated and everybody should consider getting it.

Works great, feels great, software is fine for the KB. My only gripe is there isn't a USB port built into the keyboard, that convenience is a loss of a whole star, but I like it, and will keep it, hopefully for many years.

Nicest keyboard I’ve ever used, I didn’t know keyboards could be so nice and smooth. Also really quiet compared to the keyboard I was using. Also like the removable USB-c cable.

Overall this is a great gaming keyboard. I had the Logitech G Pro keyboard with Romer switches and this is far better. It is compact without wasting space. The left control key is as large as the space bar which helps to not accidentally clip the windows key if you like to dash slide frequently in fps games. The RGB is the right amount of brightness and it can be synced to the motherboard along with other Asus products so that's something if you go for aesthetics. I have the Cherry Red Linear and they feel great. My only complaint is that the stabilizer bars on the space bar are a bit loose, not sure if that's just my unit but it isn't a deal breaker imo. Either way I'm very satisfied with this keyboard.

This keyboard is worth every penny, smooth linear keys, bright and smooth rgb and very responsive. Perfect for a fps gamer that never uses the num pad and could use the extra desk space for all those fast wide mouse movements. Also the stealth key is perfect for those that want to sneak a game or show in when they shouldn't be XD. Does have a extra large left CTL key so you don't misclick but this does mean that custom key caps may be hard to find for it and the space bar as it is a bit shorter and also a windows key lock function for even more assurance. Just enough media control keys in the top row for those that like them but don't need alot of extra buttons and very easy to use software, all in all a good purchase for an enthusiast.

If your looking for a TKL keyboard, this might be it. I tried many TKL keyboards and this one is the one I liked the most with the RGB. The wrist pad is very comfortable and the mx cherry reds are nice for gaming and typing. This keyboard has all you need really minus a numpad, which if you don't use all too often makes this the perfect keyboard. This keyboard has a hide button which is nice.

My son uses this keyboard to play modern warfare. He’s 9 and loves the way the keys fell on this keyboard. Very responsive. The rgb backlight is another feature he loves. Great colors. The keyboard feels very sturdy. Doesn’t feel cheap at all.
This is beautiful keyboard. The colors are amazing.

ASUS has released a solid, mid range gaming TKL that has just enough extra features to make it stand out a bit at the price point, while leaving out nonsense gimmicks and anything that would make the MSRP balloon. You can control ASUS Aura with simple macros that apply system wide, the lighting is solid, the magnetic wrist rest is shockingly premium feeling, add in a sturdy metal toplate, cherry mx reds because why fix whats already perfect, and even a dedicated key combo for making your function row , you know, actually useful day to day as dedicated Media control keys. I go this to easily integrate and asthetically match my majority ROG daily driver rig, and it hasnt disappoint me in any amount.

Build quality is superb. This feel like a piece of industrial equipment from the 1980’s. Detachable USB cable is good. Unfortunately the keyboard has too much input lag. Also not a fan of the red linear switches. Way too slow for FPS gaming. This makes the whole experience feel sluggish. Not recommended for highly competitive play. Otherwise great keyboard with superb LED lighting. Bottom row is nonstandard which I actually liked, but you will need to buy Asus’s own PBT keycap set specifically for this keyboard since nobody else makes one.

Dear Rene A,
Thank you so much for the honest feedback, I'm sorry to hear about the input lag. This is not the kind of experience we want our customers to have. Have you tried to use a different USB port? Depending on the game performance, there might be a lag. I'm happy to troubleshoot with you, feel free to reach out to me at customerloyalty@asus.com and provide this link for reference. I'll do my best to provide a quick resolution to your case. Your feedback is important as it helps with improvements to ASUS Support channels.
Thank you for choosing ASUS!

I consider myself a casual gamer however I have to say that overall the keyboard makes playing video games a more satisfying endeavor. Also, the keyboard is ideal for people, like students, that have to write a lot and like physical feedback when typing. However, I have to admit that the keyboard has a bunch of functions that I think a casual gamer or a non-streamer is never going to use. Overall, a great product although a bit pricey. If you feel that money is not a problem, go for it. If not I bet that there are cheaper options that can do the same.

RGB lights are easy to customize. Fit and finish of KB is very fine, with detailed embossing on the underside of KB and wrist pad. Wrist pad is attached to KB magnetically and feels smooth and comfortable to the wrists. Beefy tilt legs with rubber anti-skid pads keep KB stationary during the heat of battle. If you are in the market for a small gaming KB, you should check out the ASUS TKL

I was amazed at how comfortable this keyboard is. The wrist rest is unbelievably comfortable and plush. Also, the keys are so smooth, quiet, and responsive. I also appreciate that the USB cable is detachable. You won't regret it.
