Initial 4 stars because I've only had it for a week, So far all is working well. Caught it on sale around $1100,00. Which I consider a good deal with the latest NVidia card and 32GB of RAM. I was looking at a laptop one generation older. 4060 card, and 16 GB RAM for about $1400. So I feel like I dodged a bullet when this went on sale. The i7 chip should be more than adequate for my use, and hopefully a bit cooler than an i9. Of course, initial updates, installs and data transfer is daunting. But that's expected. Had a slight graphics glitch at first which was remedied with an update on the ASUS site. Also had an issue with the backlit keyboard and the hotkeys. Hotkeys would not work. Had to change some settings in Windows 11 to fix that. Monitor is crisp. Set on performance playing most games getting over 160 FPS. World Of Warships over 200 FPS. Noticed the i7 can get hot at this setting. In silent mode its much cooler and generally over 60 FPS depending on the game. Most games at 80 FPS or better. Overall, everything works as it should after some tweaks. ASUS has been more reliable than the MSI that I previously owned. Hope the track record continues.

The laptop is powerful and handles games really well. The graphics are smooth, and the SSD makes everything load super fast. The design feels solid too. The only negatives are the fan noise and battery life, but that’s normal for gaming laptops. Still, definitely a great purchase and worth the money.I was thinking to return it back but i just change my mind great laptop for rest of your life hope it will stay longer

I’ve been using this laptop daily for both work projects and gaming, and it has exceeded my expectations. The performance is lightning-fast thanks to the powerful processor, and multitasking feels effortless even with several programs open. The graphics quality is outstanding, making games run smoothly without lag. I also appreciate the build quality—it feels sturdy and durable, clearly designed to last. The keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions, and the display is bright and vibrant, perfect for both productivity and entertainment. Battery life has been reliable, easily lasting through my workday. Overall, this is a well-rounded laptop that combines speed, strength, and style. Amazing performing laptop. Thanks to Best Buy’s monthly payment plan it made it easier to pick a laptop and no regrets so far. The ASUS TUF F16 5060 in the image is very well rounded consisting of fast speed, frames, and customizable keyboard lighting as well as GPU/CPU modes. Although the battery life is amazing but only on low preferences for work, whilst it is recommended to be plugged in when gaming or coding. All being said, the fans run quiet all the time, unless you obviously buy for maximum gaming.

Been using this for a few months and performance is impressive. Display is sharp with vibrant colors and it handles gaming smoothly. The cooling system works well keeping everything running stable. You can hear them working, but that's exactly what you want when pushing performance. The laptop maintains solid temps even under heavy load. For the price point, this delivers exceptional value. Build quality feels premium and the specs punch well above the cost. Gaming experience has been flawless so far. Too early to find any real complaints as everything's been running great. Highly recommend if you are looking for a capable gaming laptop.

I’ve had my ASUS TUF Gaming F16 (i7-14650HX, RTX 4060) for a bit now, and I am blown away. If you are looking for a laptop that balances raw power with military-grade durability, stop looking. This is the one. The Intel Core i7-14650HX is a monster. With 16 cores, it handles multitasking like a desktop. I can have dozens of Chrome tabs, Discord, and a heavy AAA game running simultaneously without a single hiccup. It’s snappy, responsive, and frankly, overkill for most daily tasks—which is exactly what you want.

The ASUS TUF Gaming Laptop feels like one of those machines that’s not trying to impress you at first — but the more you use it, the more you realize it’s built to handle real, everyday pressure. Performance is solid and consistent; you can game, multitask, run background apps, and it keeps up without feeling like it’s about to give out. It’s not always max-settings perfect, but it delivers where it counts, and that reliability stands out more over time than raw power. The build quality is honestly one of its biggest strengths. It feels sturdy, like you don’t have to baby it or worry about moving around with it. It’s a little heavier because of that, but that tradeoff makes sense once you realize it’s designed to last. On the flip side, when you push it, it does get warm and the fans get loud — nothing unexpected for a gaming laptop, but definitely noticeable. It’s something you manage, not something that ruins the experience. Battery life is decent for normal use, but realistically, this is a laptop that performs best plugged in, especially for gaming. The display is smooth and responsive, which makes gameplay feel clean, even if it’s not the most color-accurate screen out there. Overall, this laptop comes off as a true workhorse. It’s not the flashiest, not the quietest, and not trying to be a luxury device — but it’s reliable, capable, and built for people who actually use their laptop every day. The best way to describe it is simple: it’s not trying to be the best laptop in the room, it’s trying to be the one that doesn’t quit on you when you need it — and it does that job really well.

It’s amazing how quick it works. The laptop has been great in everything I’ve done. I bought it because it was a requirement for my university and it accomplishes the minimum requirements by far (Engineering program.) The screen is great, a bit too big for me, but it might be necessary depending on what you need. Summing up, this is a great laptop and you might consider it like an option given its price-performance ratio.

Great laptop use it for work in the oilfield. Tough enough to travel with me from location to location. Powerfully enough to process 3d redering on logistical tools.

I picked this up on a sale and open box excellent for less than $1000. I was looking for a gaming/remote work laptop and this hasn't disappointed. The battery life in eco on the go gives anywhere to 3-4 hours which is what I would expect. This has been running Arc Raiders and my group of applications for work with out an issue. I had a new Alienware Aurora A16 that I tried out originally but it would stutter on videos and random application use and was instantly solved with the Asus Tuf. Keys feel good, touchpad is the best touch pad I tried out of the 4 laptops I went through in this price range. Can't go wrong with this one.

okay so this laptop is really good and its worth every single penny but here is what is important most people will say 8gb vram is not good enough but no they are really good you just cant use the same pc for more than 3 years if i m being honest 12gb vram is just future proofing you just need 8gb its the best option and an other thing is even tho this laptop is so great the battery life is not if you want to use this laptop for other jobs you need to but another laptop if you cant keep it plugged in other than that this laptop is great for gamers its worth every single penny and also its strong i dropped it to the wall and as you can see in the picture i took nothing happened other than that so its a great laptop and i recommend it for other gamers

Serves every need I have. I admit, I do not prefer to game with every setting maxed, so the lower VRAM isnt hurting me. But, its light enough that I don't mind bringing it around for work, and it can do everything I need for my hobbies. Price was great on sale too! ~$1000

I upgraded from a Acer Nitro 5 to this gaming laptop. I’m using it for Sims 4 and amateur writing. I use a lot of custom content and mods with Sims 4 plus use various creator tools and this has held up beautifully so far. It’s fast and graphics are awesome. Battery life is really impressive, although I typically always have it plugged in so I can’t comment too much on that as of now. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

Very nice gaming laptop! It’s not as heavy as I thought, and very portable to use for gaming purposes when I take a trip.

I purchased this laptop primarily for the number and variety of ports, and the ease and ability to upgrade and/or fix things later on if needed, i.e. to future-proof it to some extent. I use it for work and to that end, it's been fantastic. The size and weight make it very portable and one-hand-friendly while also having a useable screen size. The screen is fairly sharp (though I dinged this computer one star for having a fairly low brightness) and color-accurate. My favorite thing though has to be the keyboard. It feels amazing and very accurate. The tactile sensation when typing is fantastic and even addictive, with a firm but muted clunk to each keystroke. The whole device feels very solid and durable, the speakers sound quite good (for a laptop), the fan soothingly whirs without being a distraction, the keyboard seems well laid-out. Honestly, it's hard to find faults with this thing and even the low max screen brightness isn't really a problem unless you're trying to use it in direct sunlight. Highly recommend.
