I have about 250 CD's with cases. They take up a lot space in my living room. I bought 4 of these organizers and now the CD's are in a very small space. The web site allows you to list each CD and its numbered slot in the organizer. And then print it out. Locate the CD on the list, place the indicator under that numbered slot, open the lid, and voila there it is. Simple as can be. I have one organizer for male artists, one for females, one for groups, and one for anything off beat. The website recommends numbering on the CD with its corresponding slot so it can easily be returned to the organizer. No more searching for the case. I love them.

I love this disc organizer! It’s extremely time efficient- instead of flipping through 80 discs one or two at a time, I can quickly and easily find and select the one I want. It is attractive and compact, doesn’t take up a lot of space (especially in comparison to the two tower racks I was previously using). It looks nice on the shelf of my entertainment system. It’s different from the standard disc organizers I’m used to but I’m really glad I upgraded. It makes finding my DVDs a simple task, instead of having to search up and down multiple racks or flip through a book. Highly recommend!

Bought this for our home theater. Husband really likes them, they cut down on the amount if DVD cases that pile up. We bought one for games and one for movies. There is a template at discgear.com that works really well to digitally store all of your movie titles, to organize them and print off a sheet that goes into a slide out tray on the bottom of the organizer.

It holds 40 dvds and picks up the selected dvd when you open the case. It is sturdy and looks good and fits in my tv stand. Can't beat the price for storing that many movies.

I am so glad I found these! They take up very little space and help me keep my CD's organized!

Even though CD'S are going out. I still have a good collection of them from the beginning off the digital age, and this is the perfect device to organize then and keep them nice. Doesn't take up much space, and it's built well.

These storage drums work well for storing large quantities of CDs, DVDs, or Blue Ray disks. Each slot is labeled with a number and there is a pull out tray with a card listing each number with a place to write a name or description of the disk in that slot. You move a selector on the front to point to the number of the disk you want and then open the drum. When you open it, the selected disk has been lifted out of its slot so you can retrieve it.

I'll make this quick. I bought one of these to try it. After I tried it, I ordered 10 more. You can use MyDiscgear.com to print alphabetized titlesheets FREE. No, I don't work for Discgear.

This thing was so cool to fill up and use I need to move it to a more convenient place but it is so convenient to have such a compact DVD selection

No more stacks of dvd's in plastic cases, not to mention how easy they are to locate and retrieve.

This disc storage drum features a lockable door and protective sleeves for safely storing up to 80 CDs, DVDs or Blu-ray Discs. The pull-out menu index system lets you quickly and easily find the disc you're looking for. I LOVE IT!! I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a place to store your collection.

I needed to get my movies out of the cases to save room. This drum is great because it holds just the disc. I also like the way you select the movie, look up the number and move the selector to that number, lift the lid and it pulls out your movie.

It does the job it is advertised to do. The lid operates nicely and the locator tab moves smoothly. I have not yet tried the online printing for the dvd index. One bothersome item is that the clamp used by the locator tab to extract the dvd appears to have trouble grasping the disc smoothly. It seems very sensitive to the location on the glider regarding the difference between a smooth grab and a rough one.

This drum is a great way to store and retrieve DVDs. In addition to protecting the disks from dust and scratches it allows the user to select a particular DVD by number (1 to 80). They offer an online tool to print out the inventory for the 80 disks.

I am really satisfied with this purchase. I organized my DVDs using their online listing system. It's important to be careful when inserting the DVDs side by side, the indentations and numbering are right next to each other and are rather small, so when I wanted to skip a few slots for a separate genre, I missed the correct number a few times and would have to reorganize that section.

Awesome storage! The item that I received was what I really expected. It was in perfect condition and so far, it’s working fine. Best Buy’s order tracking is extremely helpful, convenient and efficient.

I really like these high density storage "drums" - I have 6 and my mom ordered another 3 after she saw mine. I love that I no longer have to flip through binders. My only two complaints - I couldn't figure out how to print what the contents of the case are on the paper that goes in the pull out slot. I don't want to write them in there either because what if I change my mind about the order of things haha. So the other thing is I wish that they stacked. Other than that, I LOVE these!!!

These work great for movie storage and save a ton of space. Like a juke box player.
