Al Gromer Khan (born 1946) was influenced by growing up in England, Morocco, and India. In 1975, at the suggestion of his teacher, Imrat Khan, he was taken into a family of sitar players with an unbroken tradition going back to the seventeenth century, the age of the moguls.
