The astonishingly smooth and pure Perfect-Surface processed conductors minimize distortion caused by grain boundaries and surface discontinuities that exist in any metal conductor. With only superior Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) on the outside, Monsoons conductors are essentially all PSC+ with a Long-Grain Copper (LGC) core. Superior metal greatly reduces ear-fatiguing distortion for a more enjoyable listening experience.
While Semi-Solid Concentric conductors use fewer, larger strands that do not change position along the length of a cable, TRUE-Concentric conductors push this concept even further, spiraling each successive layer of strands in the direction opposite to the one beneath it. Because this arrangement places more contact pressure at the points of contact, rather than lines of contact, the overall strand interaction distortion is meaningfully reduced.
