Brand new 1/18 scale diecast car model of the Monkeemobile Red with White Top and Interior from "The Monkees," including four Monkees figure cutouts for display, part of the "Silver Screen Machines" Series by Auto World. This limited-edition collectible comes in the manufacturer’s original unopened box and features real rubber tires, steerable wheels, an accurate interior and chassis, and opening hood and doors. Made of diecast with some plastic parts, the model includes detailed interior, exterior, and engine compartment. Dimensions are approximately L-12.5, W-4.5, H-4 inches. The Monkeemobile was one of the most desired custom cars of Sixties television, created by car customizer Dean Jeffries from a 1966 Pontiac GTO, featuring an original 6-71 supercharger on the exposed engine later replaced with a mock supercharger. Two Monkeemobiles were constructed—#1 for the TV show and #2 as a backup and stunt car, traveling with life-size stand-ups of all four Monkees for display alongside the car.
