B + W - T-Pro MRC Nano High Transmission Circular Polarizer Filter

With the B+W T-Pro MRC Nano High Transmission Circular Polarizer Filter, photographers can effortlessly enhance the vibrancy and depth of their images. This advanced polarizing filter is designed to amplify the purity of intrinsic colors, resulting in radiant white clouds set against a deep blue sky or the rich hues of autumn foliage. As one of the most essential tools for both analog and digital photography, this filter significantly increases color saturation. The B+W T-Pro MRC Nano filter features a rotating mount, allowing photographers to precisely control the polarization effect through the viewfinder or monitor display. This capability is particularly useful for reducing reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass, and glossy paint. By minimizing these reflections, objects and people behind surfaces like shop windows and car windshields become clearly visible, enhancing images without the need for post-processing.Designed as a circular polarizer, this filter is compatible with nearly all modern cameras, especially those utilizing beam splitters in the light path for TTL exposure metering or autofocus. This compatibility helps prevent exposure errors, ensuring accurate and consistent results. The filter's high transmission factor (HTC) ranges from 2 to 3, equivalent to 1 to 1.5 f-stops, while other polarizers may require up to approximately 3 stops. For optimal results in landscape photography, the maximum polarization effect is achieved when shooting at a 90-degree angle to the sun. To maintain an even effect across the image, it is recommended that the focal length not be less than 28 mm in a 35 mm format. In ideal conditions, where lighting and shooting angles align with the angle of maximum polarization (typically 30 to 40 degrees), reflections can be completely suppressed, offering photographers unparalleled image clarity and quality.
