i love the older rpgs on the pc. i was excited to play bg/bg2 when they announced the console release (especially since i've heard bg2 is one of the best rpgs ever) as i haven't played them in the past. i'm still playing bg1 and haven't gone to bg2 yet. however my thoughts on this so far is that the game is great- especially if you are familiar with the elements of desktop rpgs (d&d, etc). but i can't deny that the game would be better on a pc with the use of a mouse and keyboard rather than the console controller. this isn't the fault of the game- it's just what it is. i would definitely recommend picking this game up as you will likely enjoy it (again, if you are a fan of rpgs).

the game is fantastic and, as someone who never played the original on PC, feels clunky at time. I lot of fun once you get the game mechanics down and a very immersive story

For a remaster the graphics aren't really up to par, but their is some improvement. I enjoyed both games on the PC years ago, and now have added this to my console collection. Decent game, but a little outdated for today's standards.

Due to rumors about a new Baldurs Gate I broke down and got this item. It was a great value, however it is old style animation and some newer gamers may not have an appreciation for that. Word has it that BG3 will be more present day style graphics, but no confirmation yet.

I grew up on D&D 70s - 80s, you know when we used our imagination to entertain ourselves :) Played BG on pc in the 90s and now like in the 90s the EE is once again taking me back to those days long gone. Took about 30 minutes to get used to the old play style of the game (controls wise). Other than that i lov it as much as i did long ago.

Couldnt wait to get this game in. Actually delivered on release date. Great game play and graphics.

I have not been a PC gamer in my lifetime so I have missed out on some great games. I am so happy to have been able to add these classic PC games to my PS4 library. I have enjoyed them immensely even though I have moved beyond 2nd edition D&D in my gaming groups. Hours of fun for a very reasonable price. A must have for D&D and RPG fans.

This is a remake of one of the coolest games I played on pc long ago. It’s done really well, has a very similar feel and gameplay. Super nostalgic and loads of fun, with the ease of playing on my PS4!

The classics enhanced and restored for your PS4. It's been fun to revisit these old titles. Also interesting to try them out with a controller too. Highly recommend to new and old fans of Baldur's Gate.

I returned this game before opening. I had a 2 Baldur's Gate games for the PS2, both of which had 2 player options. I hoped that this one would also, but it does not. It does have online play, but that is not what I was looking for. Too bad, I really enjoyed the PS2 versions. To get both names for 1 reasonable price is a good deal if you want 1 player or to play online. If 2 player is not important to you, I'd give it a try.

This is more about the marketing and not the game itself. I returned this game unopened and untested when I saw it was single player only. Nothing from Skybound games ever seemed to disclose that it wasn't a co op or online eligible game. Myself and apparently a lot of others from what I've seen, were also unsatisfied. This is not the same game that was a co op game on PS2. It's a port of a PC game.

very nostalgic. I loved this game years ago when it came out on the PC. It's great when I want to chill and play past loved games. They did very well adapting it to the console.

A nice way to bring back PC classic D & D top-down RPGs

Amazing classic rpgs. They inspired Pillars of eternity, divinity, and dragon age origins. A must buy for a rpg fan.

Played both countless times on my old pcs when I was younger. The remastered versions are just as fun as I remembered.

So far, I have not played this game yet. I am just looking for some type of video game relating to old school fun. I saw video clips for this video game on the Internet that is my reason to decide on purchasing this. Order the game and pick up the next day. Great service !!!

Wether you are trying to relive past fun or playing for the first time this game does not disappoint, especially part 2.

Glad to see this on PS4. I have all the games on the PC. I am hoping they release them all on PS4.

So 2 for 1 and got this price matched. Been awhile since I played on my original Xbox. Good to see it ported to PS4, unfortunately only 1 player game. Still worth it.
