Balu Brigada - Portal - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Portal is the debut full-length album from Balu Brigada, the genre-blurring groove-pop duo made up of New Zealand brothers Henry and Pierre Beasely. Written, produced, and recorded entirely by the pair over three years in cities across the globe - from New York to Berlin to Auckland - the album captures a wide emotional and sonic spectrum, balancing experimental alt-pop with festival-ready hooks. Built on rich instrumentation, slippery basslines, and layered synths, Portal explores themes of escapism, vulnerability, and self-discovery, while reflecting the duo's deep creative bond and hands-on approach. The result is a bold, cathartic, and immersive debut that marks a major step forward for a band known for pushing the boundaries of modern pop Album Tracks 1. The Portal 2. So Cold 3.
