Customers are delighted by the X1C Combo 3D Printer's overall performance, amazing print quality, and incredible ease of use. Many also appreciate the quick and painless setup. Some customers have noted the noise level and filament waste when printing in multiple colors could be improved.
The X1 Carbon is a set it and forget it 3D printer. We haven't had a single issue with it since we unpacked the machine. It prints quickly and the noise level is quite minimal. I was worried about noise, but it is far quieter than even a window AC unit. This is my first 3D printer and I think I made the right choice choosing the former flagship of the Bamboo line as it has made learning how to 3D print a fun and painless experience. Can't recommend this machine enough, and if you get it when it's discounted like we did it's just a no brainer!

Let me start by saying: I didn’t buy a 3D printer. I adopted a high-speed, AI-powered wizard that just happens to poop out flawless models. The Bambu Lab X1C is like the Ferrari of 3D printers, if Ferrari also made you adorable articulated dragons and IKEA furniture parts at warp speed. This thing prints so fast it made my old Ender 3 look like it was on a lunch break. Permanently. Pros: Speed: This printer doesn’t print; it sprints. My first Benchy was done before I could finish making a cup of coffee. I now print things just to feel something. AI-Powered: It watches your prints like a judgmental grandmother. Any little spaghetti monster forming? The X1C is already on it like, “Nope, not today.” AMS (Automatic Material System): It handles multiple filaments like a DJ mixing beats. I now own more spools of filament than pairs of socks. Build Quality: Feels like it was designed by a team of engineers who took it personally that your last printer failed. Cons: Price: Yeah, it’s not cheap. But neither is therapy, and this is basically the same thing. Noise: It’s not loud per se, but the fans do sound like it’s preparing for interstellar travel. Addiction Risk: I now measure my life in print time. “Can I cook dinner?” Let’s see... 2-hour vase mode print. Maybe after. Final Verdict: The Bambu Lab X1C has ruined all other printers for me. It’s like switching from dial-up internet to fiber optics and wondering how you ever tolerated the old way. If you’ve got the cash and the closet space, do it. Your future self (and your shelf full of weird, beautiful prints) will thank you.

This was my first 3D printer since I tried out a Flashforge Finder about 10 years ago. All I can say is wow. The ease of use and reliability I've experienced with the X1C is incredible. I've had it for less than 2 weeks and already put 150 hours of print time onto it with 0 failures. My only gripe is the amount of wasted filament from purging the hotend during multi-color prints but that comes with the territory and the quantity can be decreased via software tuning. If offline functionality is important to you then you might want to consider a different brand like Prusa as the Bambu Lab printers don't have an ethernet port. They do have an offline mode and LAN however, I have yet to try these features myself. All in all I'd say this is a 10/10 printer for most users.
