Cushion tears off even after proofed care. The old beats model was made a lot better. The newer models are horrible. I had my older model of beats for 6 year with no issues. Ive only had this model for 2 years and the cushion is almost off.

I bought these apple beats headphones on October 7, 2019 and today is 1 1,2024. I just wasted 2 hours trying to create an appleid.apple.com apple account and chat because the plastic coating on the ear muff part of my headphones are deteriorating and I found out that Apple's warranty and willingness tovstand behind their JUNK is exactlybwhatcApple's products are => CRAP!!! Save yourself the headache and DO NOT PURCHASE APPLE PRODUCTS!!!

I thought in its very brief life (ten days) that the headset was a 7 0n 10 for comfort. The sound quality out of the box was strong without adjustments at the source. The connectivity I, unfortunately, have to rate a 5 on 10 as I was unable to walk out of my bedroom to the kitchen (35-40 get with one partial wall. My 29 dollar Insignia Bluetooth set. "IF" I believed its ten-day, gently used lifespan before becoming a brick. I researched the multiple known problems with this part number in particular. There seems no real effort on the part of the Chinese company manufacturing with the known defects which is the RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OWNERS HERE IN THE USA. Their need for greed results in hugely marked-up prices for "supposed premium products" that are often filled with manufacturing and design flaws. Trying to get their service people to do their jobs make it even worse. It is an expensive brick now made by a company that behaves like a pack of weasels. Back to Bose for me. Premium price for a PREMIUM product. Still obscene but at least they work. Paying a premium price for a poorly-priced product is obscene.

Worst experience ever. You deleted my payment which had been processed without any notice. Had fraud in account but your payment went through.Had I not checked my account I would not have known and this was a gift, It took three calls 2 hours of my time to reorder then they messed that up and charged me full price instead of the black Friday price I paid. Horrible experience

I've gone through 2 pairs in less than 6mos, sound and range are good, not audiophile quality but then again these never claimed to be so for me the sound was great and battery life was amazing, however buying my first pair in Nov, thankfully BestBuy had an extended return policy due to holidays, ended up getting another pair in January thinking I had a faulty pair and first week of April they stopped charging, sent them in to Apple for repair & they tried to hit me up for more money stating it was my fault the headphones weren't working, needless to say I didn't pay them another red cent & now I'm looking for another pair of headphones. I wanted to like these unfortunately for the money you spend you expect these to last longer than 3 months.

I bought these and really wanted to like them. They have the W1 chip and that appealed to me. They paired easily and sounded fine. Then they wouldn't turn off, wouldn't charge, wouldn't reset, wouldn't pair and wouldn't even turn back on after being charged overnight. I took them back, got another pair and the same thing happened. I searched for solutions on line and this is a big problem on these headsets. The lady at Best Buy said they are returned often and they aren't allowed to sell extended protection plans on them. That tells you something. So, I am now deciding between Bose and Sony!

I bought beats for my sister for Christmas they weren't lighting up anymore when they turned on so she called apple support. When they asked for the serial number the one she gave was fake and they couldn't help her. We will be returning them for a pair that is real with a registered serial number.

Don’t get me wrong, the best headphones work wonderful - BUT I bought open box and it said it was brand new and checked by return service... Well obviously not, there was about a inch thick of makeup around the head phones and hair stuck in the band part. I literally couldn’t believe my eyes. It’s like they were returned after being used for a year - yes I cleaned them off but the whole point of open box is getting CLEAN ALMOST NEW NO DAMAGE TO THEM!

I've had these headphones for a few years now. The sound is good, they are relatively comfortable for the first half-hour or so - then your ears start to get sore. Now they've stopped turning on - even with a full charge. I've followed support articles instructions for factory resetting them but it doesn't work, I've cared for them and kept them in the case, only used them maybe 30 times since I got them. If you look at forums (as I have been, attempting to find another way to get them to turn on) they are FULL of other people experiencing similar issues. These headphones are overpriced, short-lived, trash... and also from those forums it's clear that Apple does NOT stand behind them. They will not replace them, or repair them without a huge out of pocket cost on the customer part... even though this is clearly a manufacturer defect. My advice? Buy a different pair of headphones. Or just whistle to yourself, it's more efficient than these beats.

The build quality of these headphones is great and the a have a great premium feeling. But looks are not everything when it comes to sound. these headphones sound like complete @#$#@ to me. I use to have a pair of JBL BT reflects, V.1 V.2 and the steph curry ones. they sound amazing and with each update they got better. with beats its seems they do not care about sound just price I ended up taking these back and Upgraded my PS4 to a pro with the extra $$. i settled for some Bose sports instead.

I have had my Beats for less than a year and have had to send them in for reset/repair twice already. I only wear them to the gym and have never dropped them or gotten them wet. They started to come apart after about 6 months and then 2 months later they just randomly died. I feel bad for the people that have issues after the 1 year mark...

I purchased these as an open box item. I chose the certified excellent condition. They shipped from a different state even though they were available 30 miles away which I thought was odd but it was fine. When I finally received them I was excited and ready to take them to the gym. When I opened the box I was horrified. They were not in the original box, there was black mold growing in them, hair all over the plastic, makeup in the earpiece, and 3 visible scratches on the rose gold. I understand these weren’t meant to be in fantastic shape but I did not expect them to be disgusting. I ended up purchasing new ones instead because I didn’t trust the open box policy anymore. The beats product itself is excellent and I highly recommend. I’ve had the studio for years and these are better quality for the amount you pay in my opinion.

This is the fifth pair of Beats that I have tried, and they are the fifth that did not work. Every time I move my head at all they cut out. I have tried them in every pocket imaginable and I have even held my phone in my hand, but nothing corrected the problem. I have even tried different phones thinking that maybe that was the problem. Again, that was not it. I am not sure what in the world the problem is and I would love for someone from Beats to reach out to see if there is any way to correct the problem. I wanted to love these, but I hate them. I am going to have to try Bowers and Wilkins. They have better sound quality and hopefully won't constantly cut out.

The sound quality is not good at all. I have realized that Bluetooth quality can never be as good as wired headphones because monster cable is what does the magic. I will stick to my Dre wired headphones as nothing beats them so far.

OK. first bad review I think from me. The sound is nice, but the ear cover pieces have a thin material that wraps over the ear padding. And this is the 2nd time now, that the thin wrapping has come apart, I get little black pieces of crap all around my head, shoulders, chair, etc... I ripped the whole piece of material off to just have the padding there so I don't have to deal with that crappy mess but now the phones just don't look right. I'd never buy these again. lesson learned.

I’m getting very frustrated with these headphones!! I bought them on September 12, 2019. The salesperson at Beat Buy Suggested I buy the AppleCare at the same time. He said if I had any problems I could bring them back there and they would exchange them with a new set. The headphones lasted about three months of regular use and charging. Then one day I went to use them and they wouldn’t turn on. I figured the battery was dead so I charged them for 9 hours that night. I want to use them the next day and they still would not turn on. I looked online as to how to reset them, by holding the button for 10 seconds, but they never responded. I took them back to Best Buy and was told by the agent there that if I took them to the Apple store, I would have faster turnaround. I reminded him that when I bought them I was told I would get a replacement set if they failed. He told me that’s not how it worked with the apple care plan. Had a purchased one of their plans and then I would’ve gotten a new set. I told him I was not offered it, but he said there was nothing he could do. I took them to the Apple store which is right down the street. They took them in and said they had to send them out for repair. They said they would ship them to me at my house either repaired or with a new set but they couldn’t exchange them there. After about three or four days a new set arrived at my house. I charged them immediately and they were fine for about four weeks. Now the battery is wearing down within 10-12 hours even when they are turned off. I now have to go back to the Apple Store and return them for repair again. If they keep going At this rate, I will never buy another pair of Beats Headphones.

I’ll start with the good; these headphones look good and are certainly stylish. If that is the most important thing for you, I’m sure you’ll love these. We bought this for our son as a graduation present in May 2019. He loved them. He also took great care of them. In August 2020, they stopped charging. Nothing we’ve tried has worked to correct the problem. I’ve never owned a piece of audio equipment that failed that quickly before. Unfortunately, it lasted long enough to not qualify for a warranty repair, which is frustrating because these are not inexpensive. When they worked, they sounded ok. My son thought they were great. I personally found the sound quality to be lacking in depth and presence. For comparison, I use a Sennheiser M2 Wireless that I love. It sounds much better and is far better built (but it is larger and not as fashionable as the Beats was). There are far better options for the money than these Beats.
