Great battery life & better balanced sound from previous models . Lightweight Matte Black is a nice touch but material feels a little flimsy. ***Mic is Terrible for phone calls*** No replaceable earpads

My headphones have started to fall apart over the last few weeks and I've only owned these for 18 months. What I failed to consider was the possibility of having an extended warranty put on these, so here I am with some expensive headphones that are coming apart and a limited warranty that expired 6 months ago. They were good while they lasted but they didn't last very long. The mic / controls wire came apart first, and now the headset, specifically the left ear piece just beyond the extender section it separating. Going to either need some super glue, duct tape, or figure out a way to make enormous air buds with these things. I would only recommend these if you are buying the extended warranty.

This beats headphones are only good if u catching at half price. I have bought a few beats for my daughter and they all end up with a problem sooner all later i suggest you get the warranty if u can. The leather skin on this came off and u could see the foam on them, i guess they use a cheap material or glue.

I went with my husband to pick these out for my birthday. I've never owned a pair that was super excited to get them. They worked good for about a month. The sound quality was really good however, the charging stopped working. At first I thought it was my plug so I tried a different one. I did all these different troubleshooting methods and nothing seemed to work. I bought the warranty but it's unfortunate for her only after a month, I'm having to use it. I hope they don't send me a refurbished one. This is really not what I expected for the the price that I paid… I should have done more research. For the price that these are, charging should not be an issue.

While they’re not marketed as an ‘over the ear’ headphone—they’re somewhat playing in that field with the studio-headphone quality. I ended up returning my pair within the Best Buy return date because of the ear-ache. It didn’t really take me long to figure out that because of the ‘isolation’ quality, the headphones press your ears into your skull. Over the course of a couple of hours, the cartilage does suffer a bit from the consistant pressure. So while the pain is allieviated by taking them on and off. As an artist by trade, I need to be able to wear a pair of headphones for longer than a couple hours. But the quality is amazing: sound is crisp, isolation is firm & they’re gorgeous headphones. Just the pressure is so tight it was obnoxious and gave me red ears.

The sound is good enough for me. I listen to punk, hip hop, rap, EDM... all at the gym. I always max it the volume and still feel like it isn't loud enough. I'm not sure if my head is small but the headphones slip off when I'm bending over (deadlifting) or leaning back (hip thrusts). Regardless, I enjoy these headphones. I must say they did stay in place perfectly while I jogged. If these go out, I'm switching back to in ear wireless earphones.

Nice sound but not the best out there. Not ideal for working out imo (get pretty hot and sweaty). Comfortable and stylish. Made for lifestyle use not really hardcore training.

No doubt that these phones are well made, a quality piece. And they look great. The W1 chip is killer if you use Apple product and they have battery life for days... however, the audio quality just doesn’t meet the price tag. Muddy his and mids, not crisp and lack of detail. Comfort will be hit or miss for different users. My 9 year old loved them for YouTube. These would be good at $100 for a teenager or kids. They just had Sony WH-1000xmw on sale for $299 and they are worlds apart in audio quality, like a Chevy vs a Mercedes.

These are pretty good headphones, but I’m glad I didn’t pay full price. They are comfortable and have good sound, and the battery lasts forever. The reason I got them was because I had Best Buy points, and another store was selling them for cheaper, so I got a price match. I would recommend, but play your cards right with the price.

Looks great and sounds great, musically. Deep base and clarity. It’s a bit painful to wear on the ears after about 20 mins. The thing that works well to keep them on your head is also what starts to be painful. So... 50/50 there. The biggest disappointment is that, while it’s great to be wireless, the communication for phone calls is terrible in noisy environments like NYC. Virtually useless. You’ll be scrambling to find your cable to keep the convo going.

My daughters have to have the "cool" Beats. Personally I would rather have a better set of Bose for about the same price or even a bit less or a comparable set of Sony for half the cost. However, I was a teenager once and wanted certain brands...While they have a great design and sound great, they are not worth the price, even on sale. In addition, the wireless is problematic at best. The first set my daughter had just stopped working wirelessly. Thanks to Apple's great customer service, we had a replacement in a few days. However, the same issue happened again. Upon a bit or online research, sounds like not an uncommon issue. Ultimately, was not a huge deal as she uses them wired mostly anyway (so am glad I got Solo instead of Studio, as when I was shopping, I heard that if the battery dies on them, they do not even work wired, so I chose Solo), but they are about $100 higher than Solo2 and I assume most of which is because of them being wireless. Bottom line, both my nephews want Beats for Christmas as well so found myself looking for people who still had Solo2 so I do not have to pay the extra $100 for wireless since it seems to be an issue.

Love the design, color and that it is wireless. It connects automatically to my iPhone & iPad. Don't find that it cancels outside noise and it's not as powerful as I thought. Good for everyday use. Got mine on sale. Don't think it's worth to buy it at regular price.

I love the design and the quality of the sound of it, but its not good for phone calls and its hard to figure out when the battery is going down. Its also too expensive for what they deliver. Thats why I gave 3 stars.

These have the longest battery life I've seen. The sound is good. The fit is good, if you like on the ear headphones. The bad is that outside noise is heavy through the ear pieces.

I purchased these as an upgrade to my old beats. Went for a run and they worked for 20 min and then turned off. My old ones never did this regardless of temperature. Guess its a new safety feature to protect the batter but sucks for me because I bought them to use of walks with my dog. Since I live in WI it tends to go below 30°. So guess they will be gym only headphones. Great sound a bit tight on the head but streched out eventually, beautiful design. Just be aware of temps outside.

I bought these because I needed wireless headphones to reduce the number of adapters and accessories I used with my iPhone. They were on sale for a really good price and I had a rewards coupon. I wanted Bose but these were cheaper and I only listen to Apple Music and nothing else that requires superior headphones. The color and quality were good. I ended up returning them after a few days because they were to tight which gave me a headache. After about an hour or so I would readjust them to stop my headache but nothing worked.

I bought these headphones for my girlfriend so it can match her phone. She wanted these so much. After buying them and listening to them I dont think they worth $300. I paid $200 on sale and I still dont think they worth the money. They are average. The sound is decent but it doesnt blow me away like other headphones ive owned. I own a pair of Sol Republic wired headphones and they sound great and it only cost $50. The come in alot of nice colors. Save your money and buy Bose quietcomfort or sony xm3.

Love the sound and the fact that I can be hands free, however I just didn’t like the fact that it’s cups didn’t cover my ears. Small design led to ears being smushed against head leading to uncomfortability.
