Owen Wilson isn’t who I think about for an action movie but he does well here. Really enjoyed this movie, even better on Blu-ray.

I would say it's about average for a war flick, despite the fact it has an actor who is mainly known for comedy vs serious roles. Mainly Gene Hackman is what held the continuity and the movie suspense together, it was like watching a combination of Owen Wilson growing up and Hot Shots meats Bat21, but it wasn't horrible for Owen Wilson's earlier acting days.

Even though I've seen this movie many times, it always keeps me in suspense. There is rarely a dull moment. The soundtrack is great as well. Also, based on true events, especially the genocide, so interesting to learn and research further into this story.

It's not the best movie by any means, but I remember watching it years ago and it just has a feeling of nostalgia for me. That being said, it's not a bad movie. Owen Wilson does a fine job in his role and it's nice to see actors try something out of their comfort zone.

This is Owen Wilson not as we know him but playing a serious character in a very serious situation. He does have a few moments of levity but this is a drama that deals with some serious issues that could easily have or still could happen.

This is a classic movie, and I enjoyed it from the beginning to end. This movie will have you on the edge of your seat trembling and laughing at the same time.

If you liked The Lone Survivor you will definitely love this film. The story is very similar in terms of a soldier running for survival without the bloody action. It's winning its place in our classic section hopefully it works for you.

While it is a little cheesy at times this is one of those movies you probably forgot about and will enjoy watching again like I did. The plot is well thought out. Hackman is always a great actor. Wilson not acting foolish is a nice change.

If you haven't seen this for whatever reason, go watch it. Wilson is a bit different here, as I am used to seeing him in comedy movies. Overall a very nice movie Bought it mainly for collection purposes

This is the first movie that I remember Owen Wilson in before all of his goofy characters that he always seems to be casted for. He did an excellent job in this serious role and I highly recommend all to watch.

Tired of seeing Owen Wilson pal around with Vince Van- watch this movie for a more dramatic side of Wilson along with a great story, action, and some great acting - especially on the part of Gene Hackman.

I thought this was a great movie. A different role for Owen Wilson, who does a great job. Hackman is always great. If you like action, suspense and good story you won't be disappointed.

Good movie, great plot and full of action. Makes you feel like you right in the action especially if you got a good surround system to go with your entertainment system. :)

A good military movie, it shows modern aircraft and ships, including great aerial combat scene. Include a frustrated commander with his hands tied behind his back.

Has several great actors that I like and it's a different type of character role for Owen Wilson. Gene Hackman plays the Naval commander role very well as usual.

this movie came out of nowhere for me to watch. i really enjoyed it and when it became available on blu ray i had to get it...if you like action movies i think you will like it

Since i hadn't played my DVD version in a while, I really enjoyed seeing it again especially in Blu-ray.It's a real good one.

Takes place during Serbo/Croatian war cir. 1996 or so and tells of a hypothetical situation that sounds very similar to a real incident.

I enjoy both Gene Hackman and Owen Wilson as actors and I think they work well together in this action packed, suspenseful movie.
