I've been needing a reliable charging stand for my phone and watch for years. Watches are no problem. But my phone is in a protective case that includes a battery for attaching and locking into my motorcycle mount. I've been using the lightning cable, which is a pain. Before I bought, I wanted proof that it would work on my phone in my protective case. At Best Buy, I had to purchase it first, but they let me set it up in their store so I could test it. If it didn't work on my phone in my case, they would instantly refund the purchase. BUT IT DID WORK! IT works very well. I didn't ask for a refund there and never will., I think this charging stand is great. I've been using it nightly for 2 weeks with no problems at all.

I had a different version of one of these and my phone always felt very unstable this one is super strong, the magnet holds my phone perfectly in place no matter which orientation I want it and the base is a good weight so that it doesn't tip over. Also the cord can be oriented so that you can angle it different ways.
