If I plug the adapter into the USB-C in my laptop and then connect a screen to the USB-C in the adapter, will I be able to power the screen from the laptop?
Answered by BelkinStaffHi. The Belkin INC008 supports USB-C PD with pass-through charging of up to 86W. However, the USB-C is not for output charging. You cannot connect the Belkin INC008 to the computer and then connect a phone or tablet on the USB-C port and charge a tablet.
Will this work with a Dell laptop? It keeps talking about how it works with Chrome which makes me worried it won't work with other laptops.
Answered by BelkinStaffHi. Though the Belkin INC008 is Chromebook-optimized and works with Thunderbolt 3 ports, it has been tested with Dell laptops as well (like XPS 13 9310 and Dell Latitude 5300 2-in-1 Chromebook Enterprise).
iPad 9th gen 2023. Will this work? Currently have one in place but won’t charge the iPad. Even though all connections are correct.
