It charges my phone really fast, and it swivels which is helpful for any plug. Also instead of having to use an extension cord it was long enough to reach.

Great charger for the price. Although it is not recommended for charging an I Pad it will charge one at a reduced charging rate. It works really well for charging both I Pods and I Phones. The cord is detachable from the wall socket so the cord can also be plugged into a USB port to charge your device. One great feature of this charger is the rotating socket which allows you to plug the charger into a wall outlet in several different orientations and avoid blocking other wall sockets from use.

I've been using this charger for over a year now. I bought it for my iTouch 2G. Not sure what GBEMN is talking about regarding the stiff cable, but that's not what I have. The cable is just like a USB cable and it can bend, twist, and twirl just fine. In over a year I never had a problem with it. Now that I bought an iTouch 4G, it charges that just fine as well. I've taken it with me when I went to Europe and used it with a European outlet converter plug (not transformer, just a simple US to Europen plug). It worked just fine, since the charger works on both 110V and 220V. I like the rotating head and that the connector can be folded down.

The charger works quickly, keeping my Ipod Touch 3G ready to go when I need it. I like the ability to rotate the charger to get a good fit anywhere. The sync/charge cable is better than the original. It's about twice as thick as the original and longer, measuring about 50 inches. It's a little stiff due to the thickness, but it's not a problem for me. At the sale price, this kit is worth it for the cable alone if you need a new one or an extra.

I normally don't take the time to rate a product unless it is really great or someone has bashed it and what they say is untrue. I have had many many many car chargers, wall chargers and dock chargers, This Belkin charger with the thicker, longer cord that charges twice as fast as any other that I have is the Best. My advice about trying to play the ipod while the cord is hooked up to it is, charge it while you sleep. Would you ride your bicycle with the air hose attached to your tire?
