Excellent but not for my needs
I bought this because I thought it would work with my Nintendo switch and TV connection. It don’t work. The only reason why I give this a one star is because of that. This product is solid for PC needs and the name is as good as gold. Outside of my 1 issue, this product is excellent if you need it for a PC connection.

USB-C passthrough did not work for iPhone SE

I bought this to connect my monitor via HDMI, and to charge my iphone SE (newer version) with the USB-C. The monitor works, but the iPhone does not charge. It charges fine from the USB-C without the Belkin. My computer also doesn't see the iPhone when connected to the USB-C, so maybe I got a defective item. Going back to the store will not be easy, this was a waste of my time and money.

Purchased this adapter on Jan 14, 2025. Non-returnable on March 14, 2025. Started malfunctioning on May, 7, 2025. I Switched it to 3 different computers to see if it was my computer port, but the same issues. Screen kicks in-and-out....But it you are looking for something that works well for at least 62 days, I highly recommend it.

Incompatible with iPad

This product did not work with the iPad Pro. The image dropped consistently, once every 1-2 minutes without warning. Upon purchasing the proprietary cable directly from Apple, the problem went away. If you are intending to use this with an iPad, DO NOT BUY.

Overcharged by Bsst Buy

Sadly Best Buy didnt have another peodict in stock and I used one of my reward certificates to buy both products whch resulted in me overpaging for this product by them using a giff certificate worth more than the product with no way to get them to charge a card and return tbe certificate. Very bad business practices.

This item didn't work out for what I had hoped to do with it . I think that if a sales associate could have been helpful in the Boynton beach store and not busy ignoring me than I would have left the store with the correct device I needed but not the case . So a review of this item is impossible since I am not tech savy and basically just needed the assistance of a sales associate . My advice dont let them get away with "the ignore and she will go away act" Over priced for sure with no instructions available on package

Stopped working after two months

Initially this worked well- sometimes I would have to unplug and plug back in a couple times to get it to work, but generally it was working fine.. But then it stopped working after two months. Specifically The phone charging port no longer works so it won’t charge the phone. This function was the whole reason I bought this specific version. I paid a lot more to buy a trusted brand name so it wouldn’t stop working in a couple months, but perhaps I should have just bought a cheaper off brand version ...

Randomly stopped working

Was in the middle of a meeting when my second monitor suddenly zapped out. I thought it was the monitor, then thought it was my power source, then my laptop... troubleshot every device and cable, finally found it was the adapter that stopped working?! Never had this happen before, but everything else works just fine... Frustrating.

Works but not as intended.

Sure it works but windows will constantly notify you that a unknown device has been plugged in. After clearing the notification, it pops right back up. I bought this for work and have not used it after trying it on multiple displays and machines. I went too long to get a refund so it's a $35 paperweight in the closet now.

Doesn't work and Misleading Advertising

The display port works but will not charge an Airpod Case, Watch or phone. When I contacted Belkin their response was verbatim "Kindly try to charge either one of these devices if you have: iPad mini 6th Gen MacBook Pro 13" M1 (2020) MacBook Air 13" M1 (2020) Mac mini M1 (2020)" If it can charge these devices, it should charge anything. May be they should advertise it works only with these devices.

Does Not Work with external screens for Mac Pro

Did not work with my CalDigit controller to view 2 external monitors with my 16 in Mac Pro. While the $69 Apple converter worked fine; I was looking for a more value based alternate. I realized CalDigit did manufacture a $19 and it works great. Not sure why Best Buy does not carry CalDigit products. I can state that I can run 2 external screens with my Mac Pro with no issues. Appreciate BB accepting the return.

Randomly stopped working

Was in the middle of a meeting when my second monitor suddenly zapped out. I thought it was the monitor, then thought it was my power source, then my laptop... troubleshot every device and cable, finally found it was the adapter that stopped working?! Never had this happen before, but everything else works just fine... Frustrating.

Works but not as intended.

Sure it works but windows will constantly notify you that a unknown device has been plugged in. After clearing the notification, it pops right back up. I bought this for work and have not used it after trying it on multiple displays and machines. I went too long to get a refund so it's a $35 paperweight in the closet now.

Doesn't work and Misleading Advertising

The display port works but will not charge an Airpod Case, Watch or phone. When I contacted Belkin their response was verbatim "Kindly try to charge either one of these devices if you have: iPad mini 6th Gen MacBook Pro 13" M1 (2020) MacBook Air 13" M1 (2020) Mac mini M1 (2020)" If it can charge these devices, it should charge anything. May be they should advertise it works only with these devices.

Does Not Work with external screens for Mac Pro

Did not work with my CalDigit controller to view 2 external monitors with my 16 in Mac Pro. While the $69 Apple converter worked fine; I was looking for a more value based alternate. I realized CalDigit did manufacture a $19 and it works great. Not sure why Best Buy does not carry CalDigit products. I can state that I can run 2 external screens with my Mac Pro with no issues. Appreciate BB accepting the return.

Excellent but not for my needs

I bought this because I thought it would work with my Nintendo switch and TV connection. It don’t work. The only reason why I give this a one star is because of that. This product is solid for PC needs and the name is as good as gold. Outside of my 1 issue, this product is excellent if you need it for a PC connection.

USB-C passthrough did not work for iPhone SE

I bought this to connect my monitor via HDMI, and to charge my iphone SE (newer version) with the USB-C. The monitor works, but the iPhone does not charge. It charges fine from the USB-C without the Belkin. My computer also doesn't see the iPhone when connected to the USB-C, so maybe I got a defective item. Going back to the store will not be easy, this was a waste of my time and money.

Purchased this adapter on Jan 14, 2025. Non-returnable on March 14, 2025. Started malfunctioning on May, 7, 2025. I Switched it to 3 different computers to see if it was my computer port, but the same issues. Screen kicks in-and-out....But it you are looking for something that works well for at least 62 days, I highly recommend it.

Incompatible with iPad

This product did not work with the iPad Pro. The image dropped consistently, once every 1-2 minutes without warning. Upon purchasing the proprietary cable directly from Apple, the problem went away. If you are intending to use this with an iPad, DO NOT BUY.

Overcharged by Bsst Buy

Sadly Best Buy didnt have another peodict in stock and I used one of my reward certificates to buy both products whch resulted in me overpaging for this product by them using a giff certificate worth more than the product with no way to get them to charge a card and return tbe certificate. Very bad business practices.

Usb port to hdmi

This item didn't work out for what I had hoped to do with it . I think that if a sales associate could have been helpful in the Boynton beach store and not busy ignoring me than I would have left the store with the correct device I needed but not the case . So a review of this item is impossible since I am not tech savy and basically just needed the assistance of a sales associate . My advice dont let them get away with "the ignore and she will go away act" Over priced for sure with no instructions available on package

Stopped working after two months

Initially this worked well- sometimes I would have to unplug and plug back in a couple times to get it to work, but generally it was working fine.. But then it stopped working after two months. Specifically The phone charging port no longer works so it won’t charge the phone. This function was the whole reason I bought this specific version. I paid a lot more to buy a trusted brand name so it wouldn’t stop working in a couple months, but perhaps I should have just bought a cheaper off brand version ...
