Like the manual zoom, 300"+ screen possible on dark nights, simple to use, great for games, need a better sound, really happy

This review is with regard to Best Buy, not so much the projector. I received an open box that appears to be a return that they just slapped a new shipping label on. The contents were also opened and it appeared to be missing a component. Never again Best Buy

Nice projector, nice picture, but not without some difficulties. I replaced my Panasonic AE1000U which I had for a while in my home theater. The throw on this projector is so short that I had to relocate my bracket and extend my wiring almost 10'(mounted on the ceiling). The other issue I had was the remote that came with it was unable to turn the projector on, IR issue apparently- BenQ did send a replacement and it did work, higher ceiling and I had to use a pole to turn it on. The vignette is also hard to adjust and not perfect still for my liking. If you have a lower ceiling or are going to put it on a table top, then you could be in better shape. If you remember anything, REMEMBER, this is a SHORT throw projector- much shorter than I would have thought with the height of my ceiling- I am more than likely goin to drop my project from the ceiling some more to see if it help. I do like the picture, it is bright- my room is completely black.

This product has a short throw that worked very well for my space. Additional as it is a smart projector casting it on android TV is a breeze! The overall picture quality is great and sharp and as the projector has 3D correction (H, V and rotation), setting it up on a mount was really easy even if you are not really positioned in the center of the screen (the projector is very light weight & compact compared to the competition without any compromise on the image quality.. However, I would have liked it to have a dynamic IRIS feature that is available on the other smart BENQ projectors, but that was a trade off that I was willing to make in order to get a shorter throw...

At my price point and needs (4K and short throw) this was literally the ONLY projector on the market to accommodate all my needs. I use this ONLY for movies, no gaming and if you keep in mind it does not have a great black level (it's only weakness), but is super bright (for my 160" image on a whole wall) you will NOT be disappointed.

Love this projector so far. Sound quality is great. Image displayed is super sharp and bright. You could honestly project it on a nice clean wall that contains grey hue's, to better reflect the image. If you however need a screen due the wall not being clean or good color, would recommend a grey tint screen. Do not go cheap on the screen. Got a cheap screen and it was just way to blurry, looked better on the wall. I also game with this projector and my heavens its great. Additionally, NVidia Shield is a great device to have for this project because it makes movies, and shows much more higher quality and smoother.

This short throw projector works great with my golf sim in basement. Great picture and easy to use.

Beautiful image and great color even in a lit room. Use it for tv and gaming, better than our tv for gaming!! Definitely worth it.

Awesome projector. Love the ability to connect it to internet and watch things online. Just wish it had the auto adjust feature.

It’s got the perfect throw distance and a solid picture. If they bump this model up to laser it’d be even more glorious

It works ok, but not pleased overall. Picture quality doesnt seems to be 4K.

I got this device in November and have had nothing but issues with it. First it automatically turns on when it wants. Then found out HDMI ARC didn't work on my device. Today was the cherry on top after 2 months the device just shut off and is saying bad light. Worst $1600 I've ever spent truly disappointed.
