The braided cords are much more sturdy so stand up to bending at the point where the cord connects to the charging connection.

cords are a pain and most go bad after a while. I prefer to buy the Best Buy brand/ Much better than the cheap ones at discount stores. And I think they are as good as the really expensive ones - at least I have had luck in them lasting as long.

It's great to know it's meeting your expectations and lasting as long as the more expensive options. It works great! I would recommend this cord for those with iPhones who don’t have a USB-C-port

Yep it’s a cord. It powers devices and transmits data. Nothing crazy here. The braids are pretty good actually, makes it durable.

I was glad to find one that was a little shorter than typical for in the car

This is a must have for your car or anyplace you used the standard USB cable in the past. This makes it possible to charge my new iPad and phone without having to plug it into an electrical outlet.

Thank you, Gscgp. We’re happy to hear this cable has become your go-to for charging on the road and versatile, reliable, and always ready. Tine | Best Buy Essentials Support
