Between Two Worlds - DVD

Looking to chronicle the lives of the working poor, journalist Marianne Winckler (Juliette Binoche) sought employment as a cleaning woman-and, like most of the region's most desperate, ferried across the Channel from Ouistreham to Portsmouth where the jobs were. As she bonds with her fellow workers, she comes to question her deception of them for a byline. Affecting, fact-inspired character study co-stars Hélène Lambert, Léa Carne. 106 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack French; Subtitles English; theatrical trailers. In French with English subtitles.
