I was very excited when I heard that both Bionic Woman and The Six Million Dollar Man were announced in summer, for a fall DVD release. The Bionic Woman will be released in 3 season sets (1 in fall, the other 2 later in 2011) and the complete Six Million Dollar Man (available exclusively from Time-Life video). This set, is NOT in widescreen as described, nor is it in AC-3. But it is in Dolby Digiital Mono. The original aspect ratio is 1.33:1 (aka 4:3 Standard) The quality is excellent considering that the age of the show is almost 35 years. I previosuly owned the UK versions of seasons 1 and 2 (season 3 was never released in UK with exception of a few single episodes) The UK versions did not include any extras but both the Six Million Dollar Man set from Time-Life and so far, season 1 of BW will include the crossover episodes between the series. This set features all season 1 episodes, beginning with, Welcome Home, Jaime Part 2 ( Part 1 was actually an episode of Six Million Dollar Man) The version included on this set is the syndicated version and opens as a BW episode. Other extras includes The original Bionic Woman story and the Return of the Bionic Woman story (double episodes) Both will be included on the SMDM set as well, the SMDM set versions may include commentary by Kenneth Jonhson, absent on this set.

Finally after years of debate, The Bionic Woman comes to DVD. It is great to finally after many years see these episodes completely uncut, except as most fans note Welcome Home Jaime part 1 is the broadcast syndicated versions as no original copy could be found. Outside of that, it is an awesome DVD set.

This series I loved as a child, now comes back to continue captivating thanks to Best Buy, I only regret that I do not have other languages, only English. I would like to buy again in an audio in Spanish. I always remember that sound when Bionic Woman made a bionic movement: 'tatatta', 'nananna', very good. Thanks.

So great to finally have The Bionic Woman out on DVD! The extras - interviews with all the principals make this a must have. Hopefully we won't have to wait forever for the rest of the series

One of the best DVD reproductions of a 1970's television series.
