After witnessing a brutal cartel execution ordered by a rising crime boss, Kidd's mother is murdered for knowing too much. Before fleeing, Kidd does something no one expects he steals a flash drive from the cartel's encrypted finance room a cold wallet containing $50 million in Bitcoin siphoned from global trafficking operations.
