Hi, thanks for your question! The Metal V Feeder uses a built-in 9000mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery - it's not disposable batteries. You charge it with the included USB Type-C charging cable (DC 5V/1A), and it also has a built-in 2W solar panel to help maintain the charge outdoors. Battery life depends on usage - with typical use (around 10 short recordings per day), a full charge can last several weeks to a few months. Heavy use (like 60FPS high-frame recording or frequent bird activity) will drain it faster. The solar panel helps extend battery life significantly when placed in direct sunlight. We hope this helps!
