Overall a great concept. Barkbath comes with a wide assortment of attachments to fit your pets specific needs. Machine itself is very load and when using as pet bath, the hose sprays water everywhere, mostly the floor and surrounding areas. I purchased for my dog grooming business as a way to bathe pets when owners did not have available water source. If the box had not been thrown out, I would have returned.

Not exactly the best for regular bath time, but the dual feature is nice for puppy drama. Accidents during potty training, muddy paw prints on the rug, or the usual kids spilled on the couch types of issues are covered and we can do a pretty good cleaning of the dogs after playing in the ocean/lake/muddy areas without the hassle of a full blown bath- really handy if you have an inverter for the car so it can travel with you to said places. Only drawback real is shampoo options. They are not available in stores and the included one has an oatmeal base, but our older dog has a grain allergy and I can’t trust the residue not to break him out- but it still wets and rinses him off fine, just can’t use built in dispenser for his quick baths.

Having 2 large hairy dogs (Husky and Malamute) I new this may be the best way to help with keeping the dogs clean. We have quite a few Bissell systems and they have never disappointed us and the Barkbath is no different. Easy to set up and use lots of attachments and really not as noisey as I thought it may be. The no mix shampoo is a great idea and works really well for giving our dogs a good clean. We did slowly break in the unit to both dogs as they were not into load noises, and just after a few minutes with brushing them with the unit off, they were both eager to let us use the system with it turned on. Again simple instructions and set up, just load the shampoo, turn the unit on, check your nozzel and selected attachment, start brushing, push the trigger to dispense the shampoo and clean away. It took about 30 minutes for both dogs and after using this for about a month, it already has a place in our home.

As a spot cleaner for carpet this works great as you would expect it to- as a pet bath I am still assessing but ultimately I didn’t feel like it cleaned them thoroughly and the motor noise does scare the dogs so they need to get use to it. Great attachments included.

I can't believe I had my ginormous dinosaur dogs for 4 years before finding this! I love it! You do get a little water on the floor from your dogs, but NOTHING compared to the mess of bathing them in your tub/ bathroom. It's so easy to use! Both my dogs love it! It's like they're getting a massage so they get excited when I pull it out. I love the attachments because my dogs have very different hair. One has very long, soft hair, and the other has very coarse, medium hair. I can easily switch the attachments in between them back and forth.

I think it might be a bit overpriced but I love the multifunctional use.

Dang I wanted this to work!! I have 3 long haired golden doodles and it is a nightmare to bathe them all and I have to often because my backyard is all dirt. This really just made them wet, the water gun is a nice idea, it’s a water gun with a vacuum right above it so as you move it down it sucks up the shampoo water. BUT it doesn’t suck hard enough, if it really sucked the hair up into it I can see it getting decent clean, but really the water just dampens the surface and gets sucked up. It’s not as deep of a clean as I’d hope. They’re left damp, which is fine, but I feel like they still need a bath, which defeats the point. BUT I don’t even feel like it cleaned them enough to where it’s a nice in between clean. I can see this being decent for short haired dogs. But no point with long. Water was murky still, I’ll give it that, but they just felt damp and still dirty. Nice size and VERY easy tool though. Short haired dogs will definitely love this.

This works great! I mainly bought this for my German Shepherd who is too old for his usual baths at the groomer. His back legs are weak and it’s just way too much for him. He lays down on a towel while I give him a bath with this and he is ends up 80% dry and super clean after! He has accidents sometimes now too and this does the job to clean up carpet messes. I’m really thankful for this and Duke is happy too!

If You have a Pet With A Heavy Coat, This is The Way To Go. The Pet Washer is Superb in it's Features, Qualities, and Techniques. Also, not many places Stock The Item, I would Highly Recommend this to Folks Who Need To Bathe their Pets At Least A Couple Times In The Week. It Elimnates the Hassle Of Steady Using The Bathtub Or Sink, Plus it's Less Mess!!!

I have 3 German Shepard’s. It took me an hour and a half to get each dog comfortable and wash them. These dogs hate baths, but Koda (the oldest) was a little apprehensive at first, but the other two took to it well with lots of treats and words of affirmation. My four legged babies didn’t mind the noise and actually let me get pretty close to their ears. I’m never going back to regular bath tubs. Overall great build quality and ease of use.

Dogs were scared of it but it was good for cleaning the furniture and rugs.

Wasn't as easy to get deep into the dogs' fur with the brushes and dried on mud made it more difficult. Not sure as to how the carpet cleaning part of this compared to other carpet cleaners but I like the idea behind it. Might buy a different one in the future depending on how the brushes are designed.

Wasn't happy with item. My dog did not like it because of the loud noise. Which scared her alot. Plus it was heavy to carry around too.

The BarkBath was incredibly disappointing. The attachment that takes through the dog’s coat kept falling off during use, which was frustrating. I ended up washing my dog using my shower as usual. The BarkBath was useful in “vacuuming” up extra water out of my dog’s coat. I do not recommend this product unless you’re looking for an expense wet vac.

I think BISSELL and Dyson make some great products. This one seems to be needed as my pup actually likes it. Doesn’t run from bath anymore

The dog wash feature could be better but the spot cleaning is amazing.

It’s a good carpet cleaning vacuum, but to use it to shower your pet it will throw a lot of water on the floor.
