Q: how to fix the stuck back wheel on our bissell perfect sweep turbo model 2880-W
A: Oh no! Give us call and we'll help, 1-800-237-7691.
A: You will need a small philips screwdriver and lots of paitence. Turn upside down and remove all screws then gently pry it apart. Unplug old battery and install new one. Its really a pain to do as Bissell just wants you to buy another one. I replaced mine with some from ebay (i got 2000mah ones but you can get a 3000mah also. The original is only 1500mah). pay attention to how everything comes apart and reinstall accordingly. Good luck.
Q: Is it safe on hardwood floors?
A: There are 2 settings, one with just suction for the hardwood floors, and another one with the roller running for the area rugs you may have, convenient.
Q: Can you buy replacement rechargeable batteries?
A: Great question but no the battery for this unit is not designed to be replaced.
Q: does it come with a recharger?
A: It comes with a plug in charger. No battery removal just plug the charger into the wall and to the back of the sweeper.
Q: How is this unit for picking up sand off tile at a beach house?
A: Not as good as using a real vacuum cleaner with strong suction. Sand is hard on those, as well...quickly clogging filters. This Bissell Sweeper is best with larger items...spilled cereal, food crumbs, dirt clumps, hay or grass clippings, cat litter, sawdust. Sand might be too fine for the bristles to sweep into the bin. A shopvac is a better choice if you routinely need to vacuum sand off tile floors.
Q: Is this sweeper available with a lithium battery?
