Blackmagic PYXIS 6K EF is an advanced digital film camera with an incredibly versatile design that lets you build the perfect camera rig for your production. This new model features a 6048 x 4032 full frame HDR sensor with built in optical low pass filter, dual native ISO, dual CFexpress media slots, all in a customizable body with flexible mounting options and side plates. Blackmagic PYXIS 6K EF features a fixed locking EF mount that works with Canon compatible photo and cine lenses.

Features a massive 24 x 36mm full-frame sensor with a native resolution of 6048 x 4032 — three times the size of a Super 35 sensor — delivering exceptional shallow depth of field, rich color reproduction, and accurate skin tones across a wide dynamic range.
Capable of recording up to 6K Open Gate 3:2 video at 36 fps or 6K Anamorphic 6:5 video at 60 fps, among other selectable resolutions, giving filmmakers true cinematic flexibility on set.
Records both Blackmagic RAW and H.264 proxy files simultaneously, with the ability to upload directly to Blackmagic Cloud via Ethernet or by connecting a 4G/5G mobile phone through the USB-C port — keeping production and post-production workflows tightly connected.
Live stream directly from the camera via SRT and RTMP protocols to platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and X, or use an ATEM Streaming Bridge for a wireless link back to the studio — ideal for live event production and remote broadcasting.
