A: It is an unlocked phone. I have read through some of the reviews, and (some good, some bad.. some of the bad ones are sill, however). I have a lesser version of the BLU.. (bothers me that I didn't buy one, a few weeks ago..but had a budget, when I held one).. my lesser version( MUCH LESSER) works in the US, Canada, and Mexico... To answer your question: No: I it a 3G. It does, however, according to my experience, and what some people have said in the reviews, it does work in many countries. Also, 3g is upward compatible. MOST countries that I have visited, that have now upgraded to 4G (LTE, or not) have not "banned" 3G phones (many, most, even 2G) from their networks. That being said: this phone, with its RAM, and Memory, make up for some of the "shortfall".
