  • Features
    • Hard Food Disposer: false (This feature has blades to chop and disintegrate hard food particles, making them small enough to easily drain away. This prevents them from being recirculated back onto dishware and allows for easy maintenance.)
    • Drying Method: Heated drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)
    • Operating Sound Level: 42 decibels adjusted (Today's appliances are pretty quiet. To get a sense for how quiet you'll need, think about having a conversation in the same room. • Steam Pre-Wash: false (Loosens food debris by creating steam inside the washer before the primary wash cycle, allowing for an easier, gentler clean of dishware.)

Q: How do i turn off Auto Power Off? Currently when cycle ends and the indicator light goes off, the display is also powering off and we have no indicators that the dishes were cleaned.

A: Hello, thank you for your question. The auto power off feature can be deactivated in the units settings. Access this through the HomeConnect app. Thank you!

Q: Does the listed depth (21.65") include a panel or is it the depth without a panel?

A: Hi LoanP, thanks for your question and interest in model #SHV78B73UC. The 21 5/8" depth does not include the panel.

Q: What are the required panel dimensions?

A: I purchased this model as a replacement dishwasher (DW), so I was able to reuse the faux cabinet panel from my previous DW. The DW comes with a paper template to attach 3 styles of panels. The max height of the panel is listed as 30 2/4 (my existing panel is 29 3/4" high) Per a diagram, the width can accommodate a 28 3/8 panel (my existing panel is 23 1/4" wide) Hope this helped!

Q: When will this model be available?

A: Hello, thank you for your interest. Lead times vary on a daily basis. We encourage you to connect with a dealer to discuss lead times for this unit specifically. Thank you.
