I would not recommend this refrigerator. I do like some of the features, but having had it for several months now, I regret buying it. One of the drawer slide has already broken. The fridge doors don’t have any mechanism to hold them open so the will try to shut on you while your getting stuff out. Possibly leveling it would solve that, idk. The worst thing is that you have to really force the doors closed, especially the freezer, or they don’t seal. There is no magnet or any such closing mechanism like our previous fridge had. The door are constantly getting left unsealed by kids, and probably me as well, and the freezer thaws out. There is an alarm on it, but it’s at a tone that I cannot hear. My hearing my be a little compromised having worked in a noisy environment most of my life, but not significantly. I’m in my 40’s, not deaf yet! Overall, for the price I certainly expected a much better quality unit. We had our last fridge for over 20 years after getting it second hand and it was working just fine! We got rid of it only because it was ugly! I should have repainted it…. I don’t think anything made today is even close to the quality of 25 years ago. And those were cheaply made compared to the ones from 50 years ago. We are doomed to be a throw away society I guess.

We purchased the refrigerator in January 2020 and have liked everything about it with the exception of the stainless steel finish. Three months ago we noticed a discoloration on the lower door, which has progressively worsened. We have discovered several forums of other Bosch owners experiencing the same problem. The fridge has always been cleaned per the website instruction - mild soap and water. Very disappointed in this 3,000 plus purchase.

Before owning this, I used to have a Subzero that we bought 20 years ago for my Condo in Chicago. When I moved the new house didn't have space for a built in so a SubZero was not an option. Sure they cost much more than other fridges, but the built in lasted 20 years with one service call. Bought the Bosch because we had their dishwasher that is solid. Here the ice maker isn't working and the main door is now not working properly. Only 3 months old. The design flaw is in the split doors. The clever latch relies on a spring switch and the spring isn't working so that the center section isn't closing right. Expected more from Bosch

We had this refrigerator delivered August 2020. Around July 2021 the ice maker started to be just a little less productive. We thought it could be an isolated matter of the kids forgetting to close the freezer or something like that. Unfortunately it just got worse. Now in October 2021 the ice maker has completely stopped working. Conveniently it is just over the year mark and so we are dealing with the hassle of repairs ourselves. In my opinion, this fridge was awesome but it turned out to be like any appliance these days… disposable.

Like the fridge but they dropped the ball designing the door. $3500 for a counter depth fridge that can’t be installed counter depth without the door hitting the counters when opening. Measurements in pictures is very misleading. Says depth is 24”, but that’s not including the door. 24” is just the main part of the fridge and what worse is the sides are gray in color and at least 1/2” of that has to stick out past your cabinets or else the doors will hit.

Be careful with rebates, Bosch promotions usually don’t honor a purchase through Best Buy. Fridge is ok.

Several interior functions/features work well, i.e. temp controls, and drawer setup. However, other components are cheaply made. Our unit is two months old and thus far the icemaker has broken completely and now the door doesn't close as the guide 'jumps' out of the track at the top of the right door. For the money, these are basic issues that I should not have to worry about after just 60 days.

Don't purchase this fridge. Got it in 2019 and have had problems ever since. In sum, the doors don't easily close and if you happen to leave one open, then it has to be defrosted completely, which can take more than 24 hours - sometimes 48 hours. Such a hassle! While it has an alarm, the sound is faint so sometimes no one hears the alarm. Our house is a tri-level so the fridge is not on same level as our bedrooms nor den. If someone gets ice, for example, then goes to bed but has failed to notice the freezer door didn't close then you're in big trouble. IN PAST THREE YEARS THIS HAS HAPPENED TO US FIVE TIMES. Enormous aggravation as it makes a very loud grinding noise as it attempts to defrost itself.
