So far so good, I am hoping this refrigerator holds up after reading some of the reviews. Love the organization, chilling features and sleek design of this Bosch refrigerator! It’s also super quiet and makes plenty of diamond shaped ice. I just wish the handles were not partially made of plastic, as they are a bit cheap looking for the price of this fridge. I have been trying to find a different style Bosch OEM handle that would fit this B36Ct80SNS model but after speaking with Best Buy and Bosch customer service (both were very helpful), there doesn’t seem to be an alternative. Sorry I didn’t consider purchasing the model with the recessed handles instead.

Pretty good fridge. It looks great. My main issue is that the right side door requires an extra push to close. It’s a bit annoying, but we are getting used to it. Good thing, the alarm does go off if it’s left ajar. The water spout does seem to leak drops of water, too. We had a tech look at it, but he wasn’t able to fix it. I love the ice maker capacity. Fruit, veggies seem to stay fresher longer than our old fridge. Recently, the ice maker stopped making ice, but we figured out it was because the water filter needed to be replaced. Once we did that, ice was back in production. Also, we really wanted a true counter depth a fridge, and this fits that space extremely well. The home connect app is helpful. It notifies your phone of the door being left open, ice maker reaching capacity, and the water filter requiring replacement. For a 3000 appliance, I’d except the door to be better balanced and the water dispenser to not shed droplets post pour. Bosch customer support isn’t good. The wait is weeks long for a service appointment.

It’s a really great refrigerator with a few caveats. The small drawer in the main part of the fridge section isn’t very rigid and it makes it a bit hard to open as it twists unless it’s pulled dead center. The ice also has a tendency to fall out of the drawer while moving the freezer door in and out and it falls into the bottom of the freezer. It’s still a great piece of equipment despite these caveats.

Owned the refrigerator for almost 3 months now and ready to review. After searching for a new refrigerator for many, many months and doing a lot of research and reading reviews, finally decided on this one. We were fortunate enough to find an "open box" and never used one at Best Buy for a great price and bought it in December 2020. Our criteria was counter depth, water and ice, and reliable. Pros: a great looking refrigerator (inside and out) with a minimalistic appearance. Wasn't sure if we would like the internal water dispenser but actually do. Lots of customizable interior space to maximize and organize refrigerator. Quiet and efficient. From everything I have read, this brand is reliable for the long haul and comes with a good track record in Europe. Neutral: Some complain about the mullion flap being on the right door instead of left side like most others. I feel this is actually best because of frequently accessing the water on the left interior, so indifferent on the placement. Called customer service a couple times at initial set up, it takes a "long" time to get someone to answer the phone (many, many, many rings before answering. Stick with it.) Once in contact with an agent, both have been extremely helpful and super nice (patience will be rewarded). Cons: Going from a side/side to French door, the freezer section takes a bit to get used to. Where this fridge gains in refrigerator space it loses in freezer space and with the ice bucket taking up some space, really reduced storage capacity from what we were used to. Some won't care, but with a few young kids, freezer space is premium. I like the ice bucket style, but notice that when the bucket is near full, the opening, closing and accessing the ice will sometimes knock a few cubes back behind the drawer. Not a huge deal and does not effect operation, more of an OCD annoyance. Lastly, again with the right side mullion on door and with kids, sometimes need to be purposeful in closing the right side door or won't close all the way (I think it is inherent in the french door design). Overall: very happy with the purchase at the price we were able to get it. Would buy it again and would recommend it to others, but does have a couple areas with room for improvement.

Pros: 1) protrudes past the counter less than our old refrigerator. 2) spacious refrigerator compartment (perhaps because the lighting and the stainless steel interior make it look roomier); 3) very even temp around the different parts of the refrigerator (maybe because there is more circulation with more space); 4) great flexibility with shelf placement (this sold us originally compared to others that had more cf but also fewer ways to arrange the space). 5) Bosch takes advantage of the taller size to put another bar at the top to store smaller items that won't be so easily lost. CONS: 1) not fingerprint proof. The sleek look is easily dirtied. 2) the freezer could use more space. We took out the HUGE ice tray and will be looking to see if we can find a smaller substitute. 3) manual has minimum of explanation-- like how to set the fruit/veggie bins. 4) Bosch technical didn't know how either and just wanted to send out repair (The very nice salesman at Best Buy found a video that showed how). 4) Nobody could really explain the eco setting and if that was different from manually setting the temp at eco temps of 43 and 6. One Bosch person said it was just "vacation" setting although then he couldn't explain the difference between the 2 settings. This mattered because 5) you cannot use "eco" w/out giving up fruit/veggie bin controls (they default to "fruit 32 degrees low humidiity"-- no manual vents to open and close-- all controlled electronically. 6) These bins claim to be able to store meat at 29 degrees (w the rest of the fridge at 37), fruit at 32, etc. The closest I got to the fruit 32 setting was 35 (especially with the rest of the fridge so consistent at 37). Not exactly living up to its claim. It wouldn't be so blatant if they didn't list all the temp settings right on the drawer. So my main frustration is with customer service at Bosch who try to be helpful but seem don't seem properly trained to actually answer basic questions. Cannot comment on quality since I just got it, but the repair guy Bosch sent out to test the crisper drawers recommended I get an extended warranty.

The refrigerator has very clean lines . Thought we would miss ice and water in door but the water dispenser inside works great. The Icemaker produces a ton of ice and with the scoop it is easy to fill a glass. It is very quiet. The only negative is the large drawer is tough to open. Feels like it takes effort and because of that feels like it could break.

I absolutely love this refrigerator. When you open it, it has a lot of room, very bright. I love that the water dispenser is inside of the fridge. I got Bosch because they have great reviews and rarely break down. I like that you can change the temperature of the drawers. I love the large capacity do on the doors. It truly is a beautiful fridge. What I do not like about it is that you have to close the right door first, then the left and you have to close it decently hard. You can’t just swing it closed. It won’t close all the way. Then it starts beeping. Not a horrible characteristic just annoying. As all stainless steel appliances, it is not “finger proof” as they say. I have 3 toddlers 4 and under. There are fingerprints on it everyday. The capacity is nice. It can store a lot of things just not a lot of big items. The top shelf is the only area you can put large things unless you take out all of the shelves. So if you have a big birthday cake or something, it would take up most of the space in the fridge. Overall, this is a great refrigerator. I am happy with the purchase.

I love this refrigerator, but there were some initial issues. On the first visit, the refrigerator doors had two dents. On the second visit, the refrigerator replacement visit, there was a scratch on the right refrigerator door handle, and the freezer-door handle was installed upside down. On the third visit, the freezer door handle was placed right side up, but the refrigerator door-handle replacement was not the correct one. I also discovered that the interior bottle shelf was missing. Finally, on the fourth visit, the correct refrigerator door handle was installed, and the bottle shelf was delivered. ::: The worker also repositioned a vent hose that was previously installed incorrectly on my new dryer.

This Bosch 800 series 21 Cu ft French Door Counter Depth Refrigerator was jut the right fit and look for our space. The ice machine works beautifully and we have not run out of ice not one time and that is saying a lot for our family. Runs great food last longer and fresher. Will buy another one for our home when we get it built.

I like the three shelves in the freezer and the smaller, adjustable containers in the refrigerator. It is smaller than I am used to but it works for a smaller family. Plenty of lighting throughout. The middle refrigerator drawer is the length of the fridge and sometimes sticks when opening.

Overall happy with this fridge - keeps things cold and seems to maintain temps well even with a lot of opening and closings. Not too sure if the fancy settings on the drawers do much, have not noticed vegetables staying fresh longer, but they certainly don't hurt either. My main complaint is the main door with the flap that swings shut to seal does not close by itself - you have to make sure it's closed. I have adjusted the hinges and leveled to where it tries but just can't get over the friction. All in all I would probably buy again,

I will start off by saying I truly do like this fridge as it fits my other Bosh appliances and kitchen very well. There are a few things that I wasn’t aware of until after purchasing this fridge. The first one being the refrigerant used in this fridge is flammable, not really an issue As this is common in many refrigerators today, but something I missed in my research and other buyers should be aware of. Thankfully this fridge has Wi-Fi and notifies you when you leave a door open, because unfortunately it requires a little extra push to close the right door, vs other fridge doors you can just give a shove of the door and it closes on its own, this one will not close on its own. This isn’t an issue with leveling of the fridge as I made sure the fridge was leveled per the instructions and that the doors were properly adjusted per instructions. It just doesn’t have enough spring force built into the door to allow it to close on its own. Lastly be very aware of your toes when using the freezer. The door is a bit lower than other French door fridges and you will crush your toes if you are not paying close attention to where your feet are when opening the bottom freezer door. Overall I am happy with my purchase, just a few tweaks of my normal fridge interactions to avoid toe injuries and ensure the French door on the right is always closed after using the fridge.

We love the look! And the shelving space, and the ice maker, and the lighting and most everything about it...except it is truly counter-depth so it is very shallow. A 12-pack of soda doesn't even fit the long way. We knew it was counter-depth when we bought it, but experiencing it is something else.

The product core features work perfectly fine. I really like the layout and features for temp control. it does feel like my fruit and vegetables last longer. The stainless steel exterior is extremely easy to clean and looks fantastic. Other stainless steel appliances I’ve had in the past seem to never look clean no matter what product I used on it (GE and Kitchen aid). The delivery service that Best Buy uses is sub par though. We paid extra for the relocation of our old refrigerator and they didn’t want to try anything remotely difficult or required extra steps to move our old frig into our mud room. There’s really no point to pay it if you have access to a dolly or something to move it yourself. The other thing that doesn’t work that great is the WiFi connectivity for the frig. I got it to work but it would drop regularly and wasn’t worth the hassle to reconnect.

Love the lighting and all the different compartments. The one star off is because the freezer is on the smaller side and doesn’t fit a whole lot.

I love the look and function of the fridge. You can fit so much on the doors, there is a lot of room for food. Because of the counter depth, you can see everything and not have to shuffle things around. The ice maker is great, makes a lot of ice. The only thing I did not like is that it seems the doors can dent easily. Someone in my house had a mishap with a bottle that hit the door it made a huge dent. I’ve had stainless fridges for over 20 years and never got a dent even if things knocked into it. I’m torn about replacing the door because it’s over $400 and I don’t want to spend the money and have it happen again.

Spacious and works well, the freezer has a lot more space than appears. Overall we like it.

Overall, an excellent fridge. Unbelievably quiet! It makes no sound at all except the ice dropping into the tray once in a while. Two issues: First, the right door does not glide easily shut, unlike other french door fridges I have owned (this is my 3rd). The door takes an extra nudge/push to shut. This takes some getting used to and seems to be a design flaw in an otherwise top-notch fridge. Second, the stainless steel surface reveals every smudge and fingerprint. It needs to be wiped down frequently. Bosch should improve the finish on this fridge

Bought this counter depth Bosch refrigerator as a bits and dents, won't do that again! But I do love the refrigerator. I mainly bought it because of the quality of the name and of course the reduced price, but I didn't know that and as/is purchase causes of customer to lose much of the protections you normally would get. No returns, further damage that delivery is just tough luck.

Great purchase for the price. Great product. Love all the sensors, its wide, its has plenty of drawers and space for everything, it occasionally makes a strange loud noise but otherwise fairly quiet. Love it. Best buy delivered it with a small dent in the front but quickly fixed and replaced the panel. Very courteous staff. Great service.
