Bose - Lifestyle Ultra Wireless Home Theater Subwoofer with CleanBass Technology - White Smoke

No, the Bose Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer cannot be connected to just any soundbar. While it features a 3.5 mm port, it uses a proprietary Bose signal designed only to hardwire with select, compatible Bose soundbars (like the Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar or Bose Smart Soundbar 700). It is not compatible with other brands or third-party soundbars

The Lifestyle Ultra Speakers can be used in conjunction with the Bose Soundbar 900 when using Apple AirPlay or Google Cast audio sources. Grouping is managed by your phone via AirPlay or the Google Home app. When using AirPlay and Cast, the Lifestyle Speakers can be grouped with any speaker using the same AirPlay/Cast sources, including those from third-party manufacturers or previous Bose speakers, to create multi-room playback throughout your home. To be used as surround speakers, the Lifestyle Ultra Speakers are only compatible with the Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar.

At this time, there is no separate remote control available for the Bose Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer. The subwoofer is designed to be set up and managed through the Bose app. As an alternative, you can connect the subwoofer directly to the soundbar using a 3.5 mm cable.

The Bose Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer measures 12.88" H x 11.60" W x 11.60" D (32.7 cm x 29.5 cm x 29.5 cm).

While we do not publish these specifications as they are not a reliable measurement of a product's real-world performance, the Lifestyle Ultra Speaker is designed to comfortably fill rooms with rich, enveloping audio. The speaker features three drivers: two front-facing and one up-firing, to project sound towards the ceiling and walls and back toward you, creating a broad soundstage uncommon for a single speaker. Additionally, CleanBass technology enables exceptional bass by combining the speaker’s woofer, a proprietary QuietPort acoustic opening, and advanced digital signal processing to deliver deep low-frequency sound.
