I find the build quality decent but it feels flimsy. I take care of my electronics so that is not a deal breaker. However... the battery has lost its ability to hold a charge! I purchased on feb 1st 2021, today ( march 30 2021) as soon as i turn it on it says full and drops to 70%. Noise cancellation is excellent and overall sound quality is good.

I have owned these headphones for a little over 2 years now and they have never given me trouble until now. One day while wearing them the hex screw that connects the right ear cup to the headband fell out and disappeared, nowhere to be found. After giving up on ever finding it I called bose customer support who informed me that because my warranty had expired the only thing they could do was send me a whole new headset for over 200 dollars, even though the only thing wrong was the missing screw. They do not sell product pieces. After some research and digging I later saw that this was a common issue and there isn't a good way to fix it due to the engineering of the headphones. Due to the swivel motion of the ear cups the hex screw slowly but surely loosen over time and usually will fall out not until after the warranty expires. And with no hope of finding a replacement due to the shape of the hex screw bose just waits for you to call them and have a brand new set shipped to you at the cost of your old set (which they will fix for less than a dollar), and a little over 200 dollars. Long story short, spend your money on quality headphones elsewhere that will actually last.

Been a Bose fan for years, have a pair of QuietComfort 15s and bought these for Bluetooth listening, plus I liked the idea of a rechargeable battery. Unfortunately, these fall short in simply outputting audio. Tried them with a number of devices and with every one I'd have to set the volume nearly to maximum for a decent volume level, comparable to what the QC15s deliver with the volume set to about half. Looked online and it appears this is a widespread issue. None of the troubleshooting from Bose resolves it, I'm pretty sure this is simply a defect by design. Too bad. Returned them and will see about getting Sony or some other brand.

Did not like these at all. Was looking for a headset with a quality mic that would dampen out background noise while wfh. These not only didn't block out background noise, they captured it and amplified it. Impossible to make it through a call. Sound was great, comfort was great, but if you're trying to make calls around any noise at all, this isn't it.

These USED to be great headphones but the newer ones have a lot of issues that Bose is reluctant to address. My brand new headphones did not work. The troubleshooting effort by Bose was embarrassing and the customer service after-the-fact was atrocious. Luckily, the headphones worked for about 10 seconds and for those 10 seconds the noise cancelling and sound was okay, but just okay. BUY THE SONY EQUIVALENT. They are much better and the company actually reads all of the consumer reports and addresses issues.

I previously owned the Bose 25 wired noise cancelling headphones and loved them. After 4 years, the ear cushions fell apart. Not to bad I figured since I use them every day. Got the replacement ear cushions but then the sounds started cutting out in the left ear. So I figured I would upgrade to the 35 wireless model. Sounds great when they work properly. The problem is the bluetooth connection cuts in and out at random times. It would do 10 times in 5 minutes, then be fine for hours. Do it once or twice every 5 minutes for an hour, then be fine. Update the firmware and no difference. Started googling the problem and found that this is a widespread problem with this headphone model. Found hundreds and hundreds of complaints about it. So I returned the headphones and bought the Sony WH1000 and they are perfect, no bluetooth problems! They sound just as good as the Bose in my opinion. I'm very happy with them so far and its been about 2 weeks.

For a Bose product, I expected exceptional performance. But that is not what I experienced. The left side blew out in a matter of days. At first, it sounded perfect! I was enjoying the sound quality and I thought it was a keeper. One day I was listening to music and all of a sudden it sounded like a crackly type noise. I thought it was just the signal but nope the it was the driver. I sounded like how a speaker does when it gets blown. So they had to go back. I did not get a replacement. They told me they have not ever had a problem as I have so they were going to report it. Lol. They do have a great sound quality, it's just that one driver blew right away and that is not good for the price I paid for them.

Absolute garbage for $300. Somewhat of an Audiophile... The sound was just flat and lacked solid bass/range. Ended up going to the store to return and try other headphones. Was blown away by Sony - WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise-Cancelling Over-the-Ear Headphones. Not bias at all...Don't believe me go to the store yourself and hear the difference. The Bose headphones don't support those higher level Codecs which make a difference.

Good build quality and decent enough sound quality, but the noise cancelling feature completely stopped blocking environmental noises after a year of use. From researching the problem I've learned that this is a common complaint about this headphone series, and Bose has gone out of their way to ignore the issue. Avoid the QuietComfort series and buy something else. What a total waste of $300+ dollars.

Best buy is worst place to order. I made the biggest mistake of ordering for the first time from best buy online these headphones as a birthday gift for someone. The email stated the product will be delivered next day. I waited and then I get an email that the product was returned back when I never even received it. The note stated my address was undeliverable which is absurd as I order things everyday from other big retailers like Amazon,Walmart,Macys, etc. So my gift didn't get delivered and the money was already charged to my account. I have been literally chasing Best buy support since last 1.5 months everyday I am being told money will be refunded to my account in 24 hours and this I am being told like 24 times and still money is not refunded. The worst part is I didn't even get the product and was automatically returned and my money is stuck too. Worst service from bestbuy so much of inconvenience to spend hours to chase the money. Didn't expect this. Would never recommend to anyone. Beyond frustrated

I waited years to get these headphones. Finally bought them on sale for $200.00 Bluetooth support for these headphones is horrible. I can get them to connect to an iPhone or Android with no issues but when it comes to hooking them up to a computer or Non-Bose sound bar there is compatibility issues. I did finally get them hooked up to my computer but the sound keeps dropping. I tried upgrading the bluetooth drivers and still no change. I've spoken to Bose and they basically say "Sorry, there are no plans to fix those issues and to buy a new model of headphones". They also haven't had a firmware update for these headphones in a long time. They just sit in my drawer for the most part. I use my GF's cheap Sony bluetooth headphones that connect up with no issues.

Piece of crap. Student pilot here trying to study and watch my online videos but instead have spent the last 3 hours trying to connect these headphones to my pc. These headphones connected flawlessly to my android tablet and phone but IT WILL NOT WORK ON MY PC!!!!! The first time I set it up through bluetooth, it worked great for about 30 minutes then out of nowhere the headphone's voice prompt says disconnected. I check my pc settings and bluetooth and it says connected but no sound is coming out of the headphones. I go to the bose website and followed the instructions on what to do. Such as resetting my device TWICE (which didn't work!!), "wiping" the bluetooth memory, connecting the headphones to my pc, updating my headphones, but nothing is working. For $300 I'd expect these to be easy to work with and have flawless connection abilities. This is ridiculous, I'd expect this kind of problem with cheaply made knock offs. Honestly, my galaxy buds are so much easier to use and the sound quality is better in my opinion but they're uncomfortable to use for hours at a time.

Purchased on June 2018. Stopped working, December 2019, after a Firmware update (rolled out on June 2019). Bose won't support a firmware roll back - there are over 2,000 complaints posted on Bose's customer portal/ forum. Contacted Bose directly- they offered a refurbished replacement for reduced price. Be aware of Bose's ignorance.

Dead after barely 3 months outside of the warranty. Wish I would have bought the protection plan. This is the 2nd time I have had a bose product fail, the first was a mini soundlink that failed with volume issues during the warranty period. Bose forced me to pay return shipping and repair fees during the warranty. Im never buying bose ever again, garbage

I loved these headphones when I purchased them. It's only been 2.5 years since I've had them, and the pads are already wearing off. For how expensive these headphones are, I would have expected them to last a lot longer. Great sound quality and noise-canceling.
