This second-generation QuietComfort model combines a refreshed design with QuietControl active noise cancellation, Bose TrueSpatial immersive audio, lossless USB-C digital listening, Bluetooth 5.4 multipoint connectivity, improved call performance, and up to 24 hours of battery life. The Dewdrop Mint finish features a pale mint exterior with contrasting teal accents inside the earcups. Bose TrueSpatial Technology creates a wider, more externalized listening experience by processing stereo audio so the soundstage feels less confined to the listener’s head. Three immersive listening modes are available: Still Mode, which keeps the virtual soundstage anchored in place; Motion Mode, which allows the soundstage to follow the listener’s movement; and Cinema Mode, which expands movie, video, and podcast audio while keeping dialogue centered and intelligible. The QuietControl active noise-cancellation system uses a six-microphone array and adaptive processing to help reduce distracting environmental sound. The system is designed to compensate when the earcup seal is less than perfect, such as when wearing glasses or when hair sits between the cushions and skin. Quiet Mode provides strong noise reduction, Aware Mode allows surrounding sound to pass through, and ActiveSense helps soften sudden loud environmental noises while using Aware Mode.
