The worst earbuds I've ever owned. The sound quality/battery life are amazing. However, everything else about these earbuds is terrible. They have connectivity issues on a daily basis. Sometimes they refuse to connect to my phone and i have to put them back in their case and take them out to reconnect. There have been multiple times that I have to do this repeatedly to get them to connect. Other times, I have to restart my phone completely for them to connect. Ive tried them with my android and my iPhone and they both have the same issues with these earbuds. Also, while listening to music, they will randomly cut out. When this happens you have to, again, put them back in their case and take them out to reconnect. There's also a rather loud crackling noise that happens when music is paused and sometimes its audible while music is on. Finally, there is no way to find these if you misplace them. Bose does not offer a tracking or find my feature. I would definitely not recommend. The sound quality is made useless by the software. Save yourself 50 bucks and get a pair of airpods. I'm personally going to be returning these and getting airpods

HI there,
It's great that you found the sound quality and battery life amazing with the earbuds. I understand that you're planning on return the earbuds due to the connectivity concerns you've raised. Before you return them, I'd recommend trying the steps here https://bose.life/47aVuEt to help with getting them connectivity, and here https://bose.life/3tIdQil for them dropping the connection.
I'd also double check that the stability bands on the earbuds are full seated all around the earbuds, this will be to ensure they sit correctly into the charging case.
The static noise is unusual, and I'd recommend following the guide here https://bose.life/46ljNzU to help with this. You can also reach out to us https://bose.life/contact for support as well, as we'd love to have you enjoying the earbuds.

Sound cancellation - phenomenal Ability to stay connected to ANY OF MY PCs, Macs, iPhones, or Android phones - STRAIGHT GARBAGE. The worst part is that when it loses the connection, it makes a click like a gunshot at MAX FING VOLUME. This is the third pair of these I've owned, and every one of them suffers from the same problem. Doesn't matter if I'm connected to a phone, Windows PC, or Mac. I can't figure out what causes it, but it scares the fiery hell out of me every single time.

I purchased these with the optimism that they would perform like previous Bose purchases and have really tried to make them work and like them. In my opinion, Bose released them without proper testing and quality control review. 1) There are frequent connection issues where the earbuds lose connection and then can even require me to have to completely reset the bluetooth link with my phone. 2) The rubber tips have a plastic ring in them that eventually breaks lose and makes them come off in your ear every time the buds are removed. Once it separates, there is no way to fix it (I am going on my 3rd set of the tips now in just 5 months of use). 3) Battery life is not great, I get about 3-4 hours on a full charge. When traveling, it will last about 1/2 way through a flight after using them in the airport. Lucky I still have a spare set of buds I keep in my bag. I am planning to try and return them under the manufacturers warranty this weekend, Hopefully Best Buy will allow this. If not, I guess I have to eat the $300 I paid for these.

Hmm. I used to be a faithful Bose customer. Gave these a chance and ugh. Outside of the superior sounds quality for music (when both buds connect, not just one), and the superior call quality (only for me, not the person on other end of the call, no noise cancellation for them, they hear everything around me and can’t hear me if there’s slight noise around me). In other words, if you don’t mind dealing with unexpected connectivity issues at random, and being perfectly still while on calls, when your buds decide to connect, then yeah, great buds. This is truly saddening as I’ve always loved the unmatched sound, and comfortable in ear buds, truly unmatched design. For the price tag, you’re better off dealing Apple AirPods falling out of your ears risking losing them but at least their connectivity is pretty solid and quality for the callers as well. I returned them. But I’m over the Bose thing. I used to buy every pair they came out with. They need to hire the Plantronics engineers for their noise cancellation secrets for the callers.

The buds sounded amazing and felt good in the ears. The wing tips held them in place no matter my head position. But after 3 days of use at work the Bluetooth would cut out, speakers would sound as if they're was interference, the noise canceling would pop on extremely loud in one ear, the Bose app wouldn't recognize the buds, only worked for calls, media would cut out, the buds refused to pair. Resetting everything allowed it to work for an hour before reverting to how they were before. If they worked how they are suppose to it'd be a 4/5. Getting the buds out of the case is awkward, and the touch sensors are finicky often changing the volume instead of playing or pausing.

I'm happy to hear that you like the sound and secure fit of your QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds! Handling the earbuds, and operating their touch controls, can take a little getting used to but is something you should become accustomed to quite quickly. If you're experiencing Bluetooth dropouts, however, then one quick thing to try is rebooting your mobile device; this can help create a strong Bluetooth connection. If that doesn't help resolve the other issues you mentioned, then make sure that the reset you've tried is as follows: https://support.bose.com/s/display-articles?isSessionCreated=true&productId=01t8c00000QEpawAAD&articleId=kA08c000001fEhACAU&language=en_US. Beloved comfortable prefabricated sound, S-tier ANC, and design RUINED by connectivity. I discovered Bose 3 years ago with the original QC earbuds after switching from beats. Bose has that prefabricated sound signature that is just so clean, crisp, and comfortable for your listening that I can just listen to music all day and actually enjoy it. Other companies’ sound signatures, yes, do have clean vocal, punchy bass, and whatnot BUT their sounds are not prefabricated and would cause ear fatigue after awhile. You just can appreciate this kind of sound signatures from Bose till you test it. Had been in love with the brand and got a few pair of NC700 for me and loved ones. Again, amazing prefabricated sound signature. BUT… when was ready for an upgrade, purchased these QC Ultra. Connection problems like one side would not connect, lose connection, both earbuds would drop out of connection and reconnect by themselves, etc. took the time to return and exchange for another pair thinking was just a malfunction but no. Oh, not to mention their second to none, terrifyingly amazing ANC. I am just so disappointed, and truly hope Bose can get it together with their upcoming products as I truly love their sound signature.

I'd give them no stars if possible. The sound is good but everything else stinks, they constantly disconnect when in use and constantly connect to my phone when they are on the case in my pocket. The app is terrible, the tap functions are terrible. If you're wearing a hood or beanie they just do whatever they want. I regret the amount of money I spent on these terrible headphones.

First pair of buds, left bud stopped working at 2 weeks, I called Bose they said we will send another pair after i return old pair to them, 2 weeks go by. Get replacement pair, start using and had trouble with volume during calls, it is way too low, ambient noises make it very difficult to hear caller. Another issue I have is connectivity, the app disconnects from buds while app is open and buds in use, making changes in settings impossible. Called Bose again they walked me through troubleshooting, unable to fix. They said we will send you another replacement, again 2 more weeks go by. Same thing, vloume too low. I called Bose again, went through troubleshooting again no improvement, they said we will send another replacement, I said no more replacements I want a refund. The person said I have to talk to my supervisor, they come back with information, Bose earbuds are mostly designed for music listening not calls. I said to Bose I want a refund, their response was we cant help you because you didn't purchase from uc directly, Best Buy will need to handle refund. I drive to store on 3/6/24 about 4:30 pm to find them closed, there computers will down nation wide. Then I called Best Buy 800 number, explained my problem, their response is any returns are at store manager's discretion . I went to Covington, La store again this morning asking to speak to manager, the host how can i help you, I explained the issue to her. Her answer was I cant help you because Im past the return period and store manager has a zero return policy after return period. Now Im stuck with $270.66 earbuds they I cant use and Bose and Best Buy are passing the buck on each other. What ever happened to customer service, when companies use to care about their customers and make things right?

At first the noise cancel, sound quality is great but then after not even 1 yr - Low volume out of right ear, sound quality of product fades over time. The second pair we bought I can’t get it to connect to my phone . Not buying Bose products anymore. this is my third pair of earbuds. The 300$ price tag is not justified by broken earbuds that are not lasting more than a year

A 3 out of ten, at best. Would not recommend. The case’s flip top is flimsy, and the buds are difficult to get out of the case when on the go. Also not wireless charging capable. I’ll admit that the noise cancellation is excellent. But the volume is so low in the buds that it’s pointless. Lastly, while the touch feature seems handy, just the slightest brush changes settings. So it’s more of a pain than a convenience.

Best audio out there but thats all. Connecting issues at least every week after 2 months, have to hard reset everytime it happens average battery life (5 hours continuous) on full charge. But no customer or video support for better Bluetooth connection for all devices (apple, samsung, etc. ) wouldn't recommend until visible improvement on easy connection down the line.

When working. Sounded great. But I'm on my 2nd warranty replacement. Took a month to receive both times. Left ear stopped working completely both times. Loses connection regularly. You will have to deal with BOSE replacement/refund department. Best Buy will not do anything if it's outside their return dates. BOSE will not refund your money because it was purchased through Best Buy. So, replacement after replacement will be what you have to deal with. Also, you have to send in the broke ones, then they receive, before they will mail the new ones. Biggest earbuds hassle I've ever dealt with.

I hate to give this item a one star but I must. I read all of the reviews that are on here before I purchased my pair three weeks ago. I have to say, all of the reviews were spot on. The audio immersion sound feature is really awesome. You can tell that they made this design and pushed this model out because of it. The noise cancellation is really nice as well. All of the rest is not good. The bluetooth kept disconnecting. It does not like being paired to two devices because it seems to get confused between the two. I had trouble getting it to reconnect when I did it manually. One of the earbuds would not stay in my ear. After a bit of movement, they both would fall out. I changed the inner ear piece, but that did not help. And they hurt my ear after a short period of time. The tap commands aren't that good either.

I'm happy you've been enjoying the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds' immersion modes and noise cancelling, Lisa!
Firstly, if you're struggling to get a secure and comfortable fit with your earbuds, please ensure all combinations of eartip and stability band have been tried, and make sure to run the fit test in the Bose app as well. Alternate sizes of eartip and stability band (XS, XL) are available separately, if needed.
As for the Bluetooth connection, if this is breaking up then try rebooting your connected device, as this can often help. You can store up to 6 devices in the earbud's device list; to cycle easily through them, use the desired device's Bluetooth settings to select your earbuds.

So not worth the money. They sounded great initially and are comfortable. However, it’s super annoying how sensitive they are. If my ponytail even grazed a bud while running my music would stop. The slightest touch or movement would cause them to stop playing. They also have connectivity issues. Finally, one bud just stopped working altogether at the worst possible time, during my half marathon. And I haven’t even had them a full year. I just repurchased AirPods.
